Dear filmmakers, don't be discouraged by the people here who just didn't get it! This is one of my fave Large Short Films! "Predictable" might be the fact that the online lover is her husband, however how she handles it isn't predictable. Some have asked about the dress change - since she told her online date she would wear red, she changed it so her husband doesn't know that SHE was HIS online date. Her intent was to save her family and save them the embarrassment. What would she have gained by discussing it or confronting him? The sceNario she imagined wasn't pretty. She handled it like a lady. Brilliant acting, writing and direction. If only eveRyone thought things through before committing them, the casual infidelity would die a slow death...

I have seen this movie three times and it's how i interprete the script . Irrespective to whether it's husband or not , it's important for her uo be right. By changing her it shows that she can bring the changes. Your life is not only yours, everyone is interconnected. Do the right thing. Do it from brain ( by wearing white) and keeping aside what your heart wants( by wearing red)

Absolutely, she kept her family before herself, thats the right decision she took, now if anyone argues why the woman should take the burden of carrying the relationship or marriage then I would say that this is the reason we don't see marriages survive for long, to make a messy marriage work one spouse has to carry the burden, yes we can argue the limits of burden like facing extreme violence, infidelity, false promises but atleast in this story both were infidel to each other so if the wife returned to her sanity and tried to save her marriage by herself, then nothing is wrong somebody have to clean up the mess and she's also guilty of it anyway and you used the right word "interconnected" the lack of it created this mess in first place, so the wife atleast from her side tries to do the right thing, lastly this kind of short stories where spouses try to save marriage rather than give up is like breath of fresh air in media where all are against saving or trying to make a marriage work, those creators just focus on liberation and of only specific gender but they leave the children who are hit the hardest, this can be seen in the daughter's character, she is "disconnected" to her parents and the reason her parents are themselves disconnected to each other, so yeah I liked the story and your brilliant commentary on it

Changed her clothes since she had a premonition that it's her husband and things unfolded pretty bad. Back to present, with a smile and a sense of relief she walked out to her husband and extended the hand for a renewed connect(ion). Her face, smile says it all. Loved it.

That was fabulous. Amazing short movie. Kids teaching parents what family and life is. Parents were GenZ and her daughter was 90s. That confident walk she made at the end knowing how she could recollect all the leftover pieces and rejoining it back into the family was amazing. 4.50 shows how disjointed the family is and moving in different directions. Later on, while waiting for her ex flame, luckily, her guilt-ridden mind imagines how this clandestine union could go horribly wrong and break her family. Wisdom dawns upon her and she cancels her plan to have dinner with him. From red to white dress is symbolic of this change of mind and her resolve to connect with her family. A wise decision in the end......

She changed it to white so that she can argue with the husband that she legit came for a dinner with client (notice the formal dressing) and that the client canceled it suddenly but ask him what he was doing in a restaurant when he said he might be going to Bangalore ...😂 it’s just a fun aspect 🤪peace out bro ✌️

So most people got the twist at the end wrong. She wonders what if things turn out the way she imagined it? So she changes her dress, and then texts her husband to find out if he was the man texting her. Since the man does not answer, he obviously wasn't her husband. So she confidently walks to the man. Points to think about- 1] In the flash forward she was angry with her husband. So why is she smiling now if she thinks he is her husband? Won't she pretend to wonder what he is doing there? Won't he wonder what she is doing there? So the obvious answer is it is a different man.

I am a person who doesn’t like sharing on the social networking sites , but I always feel that people who share have exciting lives . They have something to share and most of things I have in my life are not worth sharing . I believe that these people make effort to make their lives interesting as they have to share it on the social networking sites or their lives are so interesting that they think everyone will find it interesting if they share it with others . Yes in this movie , the daughter is neglected but I have seen people taking good care of their families and also active on social media .

Play bridge go out to eat with friends go play tennis , work , go for plays go on vacations beach mountains overseas etc it's how u handle your life and how much u communicate with your loved ones that's what matters .

This is truely a very good story...indeed it is my fav. Of all short films i watched....shows the actual scenario nowdays...this should b noted that real life is much more beautiful than the social media life...family should be the prefernce of all the things....the time u spend with ur family is to the level u can't compare to other happiness....this story gives a very strong message in both the synchrony shows how valuable are your own family members with respect to other....trust me it gives u relive, inner peace and good mental healt when everything is going good in ur family....if everthing is going well and families issue happen the whole life seems to b ruined and the person is more depressed...in other respect if everthing is going worst and worst nd even to the hell nd if u have a happy family this gives u strength to fight other matters....so it is very imp. To be involved in the family happily rather to show off in social media

@@snehathapa584It is left to the audience to think whether that man was his husband or not. The point is not to know whether his husband was also cheating or not, it was that she realized her mistake and wanted to correct it.

I prefer it the way it ended. The ending frame suggests a disconnect. Whatever happens next is a real connection which the audience will never get to know. I am guessing the Director's intention was to disconnect the audience from their story which is why there may never be a 2nd part. Coz now She decides to have a real connection with her family. So in a way the audience also get disconnected from their story as well. No more sneak peek into their lives.

I also think they were just role playing as boyfriend and girlfriend...but they already knew that it's them going for a date. I felt it when they both looked at each other while telling about their plans to their daughter.And at the last scene she meets him as his wife to end this fake life forever and not as a girlfriend.
