@@MaxandJacqueline yes, it's kind of hard thing to face, but however we have to get used to that know, i got the chance to work from home, because i'm in IT field. We have to manage thing and reduce the waste almost all the time. Includin feul amd electricity , Bicycle is kind of common method which we use to go here and there and tha for me. But most of people suffee more than this. Never unexpected this and we are looking forward to go through this and thank you so much you two for travel around Sri lanka like a time period right now. And thank you so much for your support to the tourism field here , We need more people like you ❤️🙏

We heard many stories from locals about how this crisis is affecting them in many ways and the thing that struck us the most is everyone had such an optimistic point of view. We hope our videos show other tourist that Sri Lanka is a wonderful and safe country to visit ❤️

Ella is very close to My home town - Badulla and badulla to Ella 3 station very close . You can visit dunhida most beautiful waterfall that is 2 km walk more beautiful nature captures

I (Jacqui) teach small business owners how to use Ads and Funnels to grow their businesses with more ease. Oh we didn’t get to go there! We really wanted to but trying to get transport there from Ella was too hard with fuel shortage. That’s on our list for when we re-visit though!

It's a sad that you couldn't go on a tour of the tea factory. I hope you will not feel sad that you went to see a waterfall that no one goes to much. People are now addicted to it and ask money from foreigners..... I am so soory about that...

Hey Kasun, thats ok its us that should have planned better 🤣 Waterfall is a gorgeous spot worth checking. Unfortunately some people (like anywhere in the world) take advantage of tourist. But we actually never encountered anyone like that in Ella

On a clear night look at the sky and see how many stars you can see in the sky , see how many satellites moving across the sky.

Thanks for letting us know! We did see a sign but all the locals were walking on the tracks and we even our guest house host told us to go that way so we figured it was more of a caution! We will know better next time!

@@MaxandJacqueline you can go but at least don't post, yes but the locals are not on You tube. You have made video evidence of your offence and made it public. That is two offences,going on the track and then propagating and popularizing an ilegal activity. As you in the court of law not knowing the law is not an excuse. You can delete that part and repost it .keep the personal copy for your selves. Thst will not land you in trouble. Or else get special permission from the Railways department in writing. But that too will have real issues as if every you tuber tries to do it as a practice the signal sent to the masses of breaking the law and thus causing accidentall deaths by train would be normalized. So the courts won't like that .
