My Grandad's family who were orginally Welsh then moved to England were one of the early families to settle in Goldthwaite in Texas. The family name is Humphries. My granny was told to keep in touch with Texas family but sadly she moved home to Ireland and lost touch as her husband my grandfather's Mother passed away and she was the one who kept in touch with her husband's family my great Grandas family. Would love to reconnect with them. Goldthwaite looks such a lovely town.

@@dalehumphries5097 yes could be we are related to JR Humphries who's sons went to live in Goldthwaite. I did my DNA on My Hertiage. My Grandfather was Norman Humphries 👍
