ah thats cracking, I'm torn between doing some research on each post so I know exactly what i'm looking at or using my gut reaction for them, it's probably a mixture of both, but yeah that's very much what came through and I'm super happy I nailed it !

@Old Paint Absolutely! The main inspirations were the forest in the seventh circle of Dante's Inferno, the Garden of Nurgle (hence the fungus), Caliban (before the Lion) and WWI no-man's land. I wanted to bring all of that together to create the feeling of a bleak, haunted, sinister planet, possibly a Crone World. I'm modelling my Rogue Trader White Scars' bases to match, with the idea that they're on this world to track down some traitors. I have a few more smaller trees lined up, too. Hopefully it'll all work together nicely when it's done.

Once it's done it feels like no time at all.. during it is a bit torturous but reckon will get easier with practice! lots of fun looking through everyones work and seeing all the cool things people make, glad you enjoyed it!
