Corney island in the north of Singapore! its a recreation island that at times feels like walking in a forest just beside a beach in Australia Mona vale!
Yep, oyster cakes have oysters in them. 😂 You’ve hit some great food spots, well done! Missed a trick with the chilli crab - fried buns! An absolute must with the crab, absolutely delicious (soak up the sauce with the buns). Song Fa pork rib soup - typically taken with rice. Peppery broth + bite of meat + rice. And dip the pork into dark soy sauce. Also fried dough sticks for dipping in the broth. That’s how I eat it anyway. 🙂 The braised pig trotters are also a great choice - rich, savory and delicious!
Great to see more of your adventures, only got 3 days in Singapore a few years ago so didn’t see anywhere near enough- hoping to go back someday. Only criticism with such a long video would be RU-vid’s absolutely ridiculous amount of ads (not your fault of course). Can’t wait to see more of your travels, stay safe.
U both are awesome!! I enjoyed watching whole video. U did such a gud job making this video. I have lost ked and subscribed too to ur channel. Keep it up!! Bravo! 🎉
Thank you so much for making this video! We are off to Singapore in two weeks and I was a little worried about how much money we needed to take, I didn’t want to spend a huge amount but still wanted to experience the whole area.
@@BryanDiscoversWorld taking my 82yr old mum as well, she has been there a couple of times many years ago. Do you have any suggestions on dealing with the heat? And any places to see at a slower pace?
@@_life_of_jodie_ for the heat, make sure you are always near a mall, or other aircon places. When you get too hot, stop of in for a bit of cool. Singapore is designed for old people, (average age is 48) so everything you can take your time.
@_life_of_jodie_ dress light with a sun hat for your mom. a cold towel on the neck helps too and umbrella. Singapore malls are normally connected to the Metro. ( underground ) so do note of that. most places in Singapore have elevator for wheelchair or elderly. Gardens by the bay Flower Dome and waterfall Dome is a good place as its air con and you can go at your own pace. ( currently flower dome is having a Tulip Fair.
As a Singaporean, your video brings a lot of warmth to my heart. It is touching to see you guys really putting in effort and heart to know Singapore beyond the surface. Thank you, and you will always be welcome here.
S$1000.00 per person for seven days block excluding air ticket .. a little tight ... Even if you stay in Budget hotel, dine at "hawker centre", take public transport, buy nothing .... S$2500.00 for two to stay seven days block is more comfortable .. you may not hold on yourself to buy some local souvenir
I enjoyed watching your video. Bryan, your laughter is so therapeutic. If you switch your hahaha to ho ho ho, you will be a jolly Santa Claus. Keep up the happy and positive vibes that you give to others. 👍
Hello beautiful people, so lovely to see you are having a great time there, just an observation, the chicken you cooked for your man couple of pieces showed up raw on the video 1.55.10 into the video 😢sorry just as I am a chef
thank you so much for showing me singapore. I worked there in the year 1997-2000, I reminiscence the places and the shopping center, food and everything, I miss and going back to see that place again. a lot of shopping center. I used to go to lucky plaza and also that indian center. Wow, to much to see and shop. Thanks for the video, God bless on your journey.
Love this video, thank you for sharing your experiences in beautiful Singapura 🥰 I'm still trying to work out what is more impressive... the video itself, or the 4+ hours of editing! 😆 Well done on both counts!
Hi. As a long time Singapore Expat, I have enjoyed watching your video. One question. Did you ever find and try Carrot Cake ? During the video you mention several times looking for it as a dessert. I was hoping to see your surprise when you found out it's not the same as Western Carrot Cake. Look forward to new content.
We come every 2 years and spend 12 to 16 days in Singapore and run out of time it’s fabulous! And before you say we are slow we walk 15,000 to 21,000 steps every day here, yes the beauty of fit watches! 🙏💕
@@ZephHorner thank you for taking time and effort (leg power!) to see and understand Singapore! There are many little streets in each neighborhood that has many back stories, from naming conventions to what it was before the modern buildings stand. Please don't be affected by the condescending comment above, which often are left by the same user in any videos about Singapore. Quite a typical behaviour from some competitive neighbors up north unfortunately. But we love Malaysia nonetheless hahaa!
@@BryanDiscoversWorldThat’s how “friendly “ the malaysians are! You can see them making this kind of comment in every Singapore video! They don’t like people to say good things about Singapore!
