Brother Shabir, How can you honestly say that the original meaning of the Koran has never changed. Since the various Dots used today in Arabic did not exist in early Arabic? Just saying because you still can read it, but they change the complete meaning

Dots, vowels are there to facilitate to read the Qur’an for non Arabs as Islam spreads; however, reading is exactly the same since…:)

Obviously the meaning of the verse will change slightly , but brother Shabbir is not talking about this kind of micro-change. He is talking about the fact that the overall theological underpinnings of the Quran are not affected in the least.

@Wassalaam92 No in some verse it isnt a slight change in meaning but significant! But either way, the Islamic position of the word for word, same all around the word has shifted to what we now have, the acceptance in differences in meaning of some of recitation, which was never the case before.

Just google different meanings comparing the Hafs, Warsh, Qaloon, etc. Its obvious that the Standard Narrative does have holes in it. The Quran is not from God and not perfectly, dot per dot, letter, etc. Preserved. This is a lie for the masses to pool all of their $$$$

This just reinforces the ongoing deception about this issue. The 10 qiraat have nothing to do with English translations and represent 10 different Arabic versions of the Quran. All of these arose because the Arabic alphabet was incomplete at the time the Quran was composed, and these missing letters were filled in different ways by different experts over the centuries. You are just propagating myths of the Abbasid caliphate, like so many hadith that also originated during that time.

The Quran is definitely preserved. But you’ve misunderstood the nature of the Quran. The Quran was recited in different ways (without contradictions) by the prophet Muhammad himself, so that one verse gives multiple layers of meaning. Muslims have always known and taught this, and transmitted it until today.

@@Wassalaam92 ...As you say "definitely preserved"...undoubtedly, but with numerous variants....but "perfectly Preserved" ...Nope...this is a claim: either very dishonest or more often, just made in blind ignorance....just as with any ancient hand written manuscript tradition, Quranic variants exist ; and many previously recited ayats were forever lost to time..Apparently one of A'isha's pet lamb even ate a now long lost verse... Quran is not written by God but it is wriiten about the God. You will not find a single ayaat spoken by God but all ayaat spoken by a third person. My challenge to all scholars of Islam.

Wrong. God refers to himself in first person often as "we" which does not indicate plurality but instead his majesty.

@sciencefollower these ayats are what we are taught by Allah to recite when we are praying. So for surah al Fatiha, we first praise Allah, then in the second part we ask him to guide us.

you have no idea what youre talking about. Hes the farthest thing from a salafi. He's either maturidi or ashari (or possibly mutazili) in aqeedah. In fact, hes been kicked out of salafi mosques for espousing non salafi ideas as mentioned by him many times in the past.
