I first discovered St John in 1996. I absolutely fell in love with this little gem and have been visiting yearly ever since. People always wonder why I don't go experience other islands. I have, but I always compare them to St. John and they always fall short. Thank god that so much of this island is national park and cannot be developed, it's what keeps it so beautiful throughout the years. If it were not for this, big money would have beachfront resorts on every possible plot of land.

I lived on St. Croix (STX) for three months. One word: AMAZING! I'm definitely going to retire there. You've gotta visit La Reine's Chicken Shack! So, so good. It's super chill there. I miss it so much.

St croix usvi is the Easiest place in the world to drive..its flat. it's got 2 main roads... the Melvin evan highway.. and the centerline road( queen Mary highway) what an easy place to drive... pretty too!

It doesn't stop on the roads. Posted speed limit most of the time is 20 mph. If you do the speed limit you'll be treated to a shit day. Islanders do 40 50 and rip you a new one for being in their way!
