This is the best comparison video, by far, on mini articulating loaders. We're seeing these loaders take quite a bit of market share from (mini) skidsteers. Most of them, including our Intrepid loader, are made in Europe. Skidsteers are barely a thing over there. As a rule of thumb, any loader that seats you on the front ('cab front'), will feature a rigid frame. A cab-rear loader where you sit on the back will oscillate. Thanks for stopping at my booth and reviewing Intrepid loaders👍 - Chris

The plastic body parts suck & the ability to use full size skidsteer attachments is golden if you already own the attachments or enjoy a plentiful assortment of attachments to choose from in the new/used market.

hi tim. I live in the netherlands and here u see a load of these loaders driving around. The interpid is called a knikmops here, these are here only used in the smaller size, for the bigger loaders we use giants. thats why the smaller giant you guys tested in not really a match to the rest. Giant puts more effort in making larger machines. Really nice to see these loaders become popular in the USA. It are nice little handy machines.

We just picked up a Giant 254 Tele and it’s awesome. It operates more like a traditional wheel loader. I have a compact tractor and the backwards pedals were a little annoying on the others we demoed. We use it to load our Finn mb50 blower on job sites. Hi Tim, great video as always and a great comparison on the small articulated loaders available. Thinking about Ken’s need to move 2000lb loads, one piece of equipment he should consider is a telehandler. They don’t suffer the same visibility of the fork frame as a loader and they generally come equipped with a skid steer coupler. Many models have aux hydraulics on the boom so attachments with 3rd functions can be used as well. May be something to do a future comparison video on?

Also if you were to get one of your back wheels up on a little pile of dirt the oscillation helps keeping you balanced and will allow you to continue digging flat. Whatever happened to the 1025r channel?

Yea, I know. Sorry. The pond project is something I simply had to get done. Unfortunately, 1025r just hasn’t been up to it. We’ll try to get back to more 1025r content when we can.

These are good sidewalk snow removal and great for tree guys carrying logs. As a landscape contractor i would never purchase one. Terrible for grading and visibility grading. Terrible resale very small market

Way to high in price. Guessing just for commercial use. It’s always nice to see new equipment.

I think it is due to the extra hydraulic flow. You are basically getting a similar flow to the low end of the smaller skid steers without turf damage.

This must be sponsored or they are not comparing apples with apples or they simply cannot drive these machines. I have owned both Multione and avant … anyone who tells you avant is significantly better than Multione or vice versa has a biased agenda. There is not much between avant and Multione. Even something as simple as testing avant and cast on grass tyres while testing multione on tractor tyres and talking about the difference of agility … seriously?? It’s good to finally see content on articulated loaders and great general information on the loaders but probably don’t go as far as calling it a review and rank the brands.

Not sponsored. No bias intended. …and I don’t feel strongly about one over the other. Just an opinion.

@@fullers1966I doubt it. Those specs are ‘at the pin’, not the usable lift capacity. In my opinion, using the ‘at the pivot pin’ measurements is misleading, or flat out deception.
