The Phoenix force existed long before mutants and wasn’t tied to Earth at all. It felt a contrived victory but I’m glad this all over. I’d like a comic where Xavier is forced by the government to lead a covert mutant team, or even non mutants. He needs a redemption arc after all writers have put him through.

I’m sad to see the end of the krakoa era but it seems like the writers just ran out of ideas for new stories so I get it. Still I enjoyed the conclusion even though I thought they were going to explain the whole kitty pryde taking the death seed story angle

So when Charles was arrested, when was that? I’m a little confused there. Past or present?

So my interpretation is, that was in the present and that version of Moira ceased to exist once Phoenix came through and with nothing activating in the end, the universe didn’t reset. So it kinda feels like the whole krakoan era was just an alternate timeline now🤷🏾‍♂️but I’d guess the from the ashes era comes after the death of Moira and Charles’ arrest. But somewhere there’s a timeline where krakoa never existed.

@@comicsiconsI think you have it backwards. It’s been established that whenever Moira died, those timelines she died in continue on as an alternate reality but her new life becomes a new timeline/reality. So Moiras resurrection at the start of HoX/PoX is the current 616/ Krakoa era. The splash page shows that When she dies and is resurrected in her 11th life, the 616/Krakoa era continues on, but the 11th resurrection is a whole new timeline, but it is a timeline without her powers.

If Phoenix returns and Jean and the X-Men are their current ages, but now that the timeline is refreshed, and Moira is a little girl, how old are the X-Men now? Where will they be? Will Charles be crippled? Where is Oraki? The Eternals? Franklin Richards?

Is that Phantomex between x23 and Synch on the left 8:15 ? I suppose there is a reality where he's a mutant and not a mutate ? The art was good though despite everything being rushed and it's cool to see different characters with the phoenix .It's a shame ,it started strong and the story got mediocre over time . There were good issues though : Magneto's resurrection series ,Rise of the Powers of X #1

I think it started a new timeline with her without powers but the main timeline no longer reset after the Phoenix came through and life can continue on, ie from the ashes🤷🏾‍♂️ just a guess

I.. Am confused, JJ... 🤔 Which timeline is the one where the next era from the ashes is going to take place? What did exactly happen to Moira? What happened to Xavierm? OK, he was imprisoned... What was that about turning evil, then .... 🤯😓

Wow, Enigma. Is this another Sinister? Is he cosmic? He seems pretty powerful. I missed most of that Sins Of Sinister storyline . The X-books have gone back to being confusing and convoluted since Morrison left.
