Hey mate just wanted to stop by and say love your channel keep it up. A few creators like yourself have inspired me to create my own which was just amazing when I uploaded my first video today! My local and my favourite nature reserve. Little disappointing with opening time but can’t complain as it’s mainly volunteers opening and closing . So thank you everybody at Blashford Lakes for making this place a fantastic and special place to visit.

I know there's the Woodland hide, but on the whole I think this is either a long lens or a scope site unless your bino's go beyond 10x50.

Yes a fair point . Ivy South often the birds come in fairly close, even a Kingfisher if you are really lucky

Believe the Bittern was on migration so was sadly only there for a few days

Blashford is a lovely place indeed! Main gates open at 9am, hides are open by 9.30

Not sure whether you’ve been to Ham Wall recently but best check if the Avalon Hide has reopened as it’s been closed most winter due to local flooding. I found that’s the best hide to try to get the bittern.
