Waveblaster146 could not be more wrong. 3 Seaters are the perfect medium for watersports fun. You still get 90+% of the fun of a 2 seater and have the flexibility of towing. Nothing beats being that close and in control on the water and being able to tow the family and/or friends. A boat is simply not the same but has its own merits.
yes I have. They go fast YAY! and they can turn and spin out. whoopy de doo. Stand ups are for people that have talent and actually want a challenge to ride. Any buffoon can hop on a rxp and ride it, but its great watching rookies attempt to ride a stand up for a waveblaster and even better when your out there showing up people on 3 seaters or any other 2 seater. I would love to see a couch do a submarine or a barrel roll or even get more than 3 feet off the water on an inland lake
waveblaster- they are a different kind of fun- i own a two 2005 seadoos. a rxt rxp- they are both fun to rip on and you can spin the three seater but just have to go a little faster- they both do 70 and are a blast. you can pull a tube with 2 people on it just fine behind the three seater and spin it much harder than you ever could with a boat. they are quite a bit of fun but the two seater is definately more fun.
rxp and rxt are sweet if you want to go fast, but thats about all you can do on them. They are still huge skis even compared to past two seaters like the 1996 sea-doo xp. (the last good sea-doo ever made)
The Sea-Doo wake is limited when it comes to wakeboarding. It can be used to learn and do the basics but there is no wake to learn any tricks on. It is solid for hitting rails and takes some skill to hold the speed right. Sea-doo wake is a better for wakeskating where there is plenty of tricks to learn without a large wake.
have you ever used one? it sounds like you havent cause although the three seater isnt that nimble, the two seater is amazing. I have ridden older models and they dont even compare. standups are a different kind of fun but if i had the choice between the two it wouldnt even be a contest.
yes i have I have ridden the rxt and a few others. Typically when people ride jetskis they aren't going for a long ride,, they are doing it for a quick fun ride. Tubing behind a 3 seater sucks, U can only pull one tube at a time. The fun of tubing comes from pulling 2 or more tubes at a time. a three seater jetski is a small boat, but is limted to what it can due, It can only carry 3 people on it, or 2 if it is pulling something. hence either get a real jetski or a boat
THey are better than todays pwc, but i still like the 2nd gen better, the 3rd gen was better for racing, but for freestyle i liked the 2nd gen, they were lighter and a little faster. My pref i liked the the 2nd gen alot better, but the shock seat was good on the 3rd gen
a 3 seater is a couch on water, you might as well just get a pontoon Get one if you wear a shirt when you ride and don't plan on getting wet, jet skis started out as standups and were designed to be a challenge to ride, a way to cool off, freestyle tricks and racing. A 3 seater... or a couch don't fit under any of those.
@Raymond09871 Is that so? I am going to buy a Jet Ski in the near future, and I thought about buying a Sea-Doo. Are you saying Kawasaki or Yamaha are better?
Obviously you have never ridden a decent 3 seater. I have both. With a 3 I can spin, carve and have a nice long term ride. Stand Ups are for short hauls in local areas and definately a wet ride. 3 seaters are by far the best for families. Have you every heard of tubing? Only done on a 3 seater my friend. I appreciate your bias but you need to realize people's tastes are different. If I have only one ski to take it is a 3 seater for maximum flexibility.
I own a 2008 Wake 215 and it makes a passable wake. I've seen riders get ~4 feet of vertical air behind it. People (without much skill) have attempted front flips without much luck... I've seen the board get around, but the rider couldn't stick the landing. Again, none of us were any good so a front flip should be possible.
The Wake boarder seeks wake but not from the Sea Doo ........ From the Craft Filming, It could do with a few more gadgets i`d make the first one some WAKE . I own a Sea Doo & love it , but not for this ... Thrills will be short lived
@teamzulu16 Um, that would be me. I've been involved with PWCs since my 1993 sea-doo xp. Since I got to meet Loyed Buleu, Rick Roy, Chris Fichiti etc. We have always had 3 pwcs at out LBJ house since that date, up grading pwcs yearly to bi-yearly. I owned Sea-doo's to Polaris's, to Wet jets , to Kawasaki etc. They are just like cars. Good luck with some and bad with others. My subscriptions to magazinzes such as Splash, watercraft world, etc..were not biased either cause it's a fact.
Thats funny, I dont see the advantage of wakeboarding behind this Wake edition in this video. First of all, theres no wake for jumping! Second, you need a tall wake tower to get the air. Stupid idea in my opinion!
Even with 215bhp... Driver , Passenger/Lookout & " Dare Devil " ...then taking on up to 91kg of ballast , The speed will be drastically reduced . Versatile & fun but def not for a real DARE DEVIL
bitt pricey for a jetski but they ra lot offf fun i would perfer to buy a ski boat wtha high pole for tht price has a biger wake then tht jet ski wil evr put out an riden wtha ballis full wil be havy an then suck the feul
they are junk. They can't even spin out or jump a wave unless it is more than 2 feet defiantly not 90 percent of the fun a good 2 seater, or even 5% of a standup x2 or waveblaster. You can only pull one person behind it at a time so tubing is pointless.... it has no wake so wakeboarding is pointless. If you want to pull somehting get a boat, if you want fun get a real jetski like a standup x2 or waveblaster
3 seater jetskis are garbage. Whats the point. Buy a boat. The only thing they should be used for is pulling wakeskates through rail areas that a boat couldnt go to
gay. it still has no wake and the speed is too inconsistant. let along jet wash sucks to board behind. and jet skis have no tracking fins so if i cut hard enough ill spin that ski sideways. i board behind a 2006 Moomba Outback V. it has REAL ballast and a wakeplate along with a tower and an indmar carbureted vortech V8. we can get a helluva wake out of it. and by emptying the left rear ballast we surf on that wake. not to mention any idiot who buys this will suck the rope into the jet pump.
