I live close by in Wellington and have driven often to the other side where there is a trout farm. I am Ex Durbanite and had driven through many other times before I moved to Wellington. Was claustrophobic at first.
I agree, I tried to slow down but there were cars behind me and as you may have seen on the video : the tunnel is monitored by CCTV with technology that can detect a car that is driving slow and trigger the alarm. Thanks for the comments.
Europe brains design and are master tunnel builders. I have driven through many tunnels in Europe's Alps mountains. So nice for them to lend Africa a helping hand.
