I would be so embarrassed to turn my dirty ass car like that in to someone to work on. Thanks for the video. Mine's under warranty just bought used, I hope they do a decent fix. This is criminal to not be a recall by Chevy/GM. This is a safety defect design flaw.

It is not as bad as it looks, you can do this with basic tools , you don't need anything fancy, what part is giving you hard time necessarily

Hello great video , only question I have is my vehicle 2018 Chevy equinox gives me the Shift to Park message also , but it’s locked in park can’t it out of park unless I do it manually by pressing the little button below the shifter, will that harness solve that issue as well ?? Thanks

That bulletin doesn't cover the equinox , usually it is the shifter assembly on those

Will a jumper harness cure the problem. Its my daughters car and it keeps killing the battery. She messed with the micro switch and little metal tab fell off

I changed the part and it's still getting this error. I ended up replacing the starter as well. The battery was tested by 2 stores and they say its good. The battery is getting drained by something and i cannot figure it out. Any suggestions would be amazing!

Have you looked at the battery wire that goes to the fuse box . That wire was bad on my 2017 impala my car would cut off while I’m driving , I have replaced alternator and battery thinking that was the problem but it wasn’t those two. So had taken it to the Chevy dealer they didn’t find anything wrong . I got the car back and the same thing was happening I decided to dig deep checking ever wire be and when I came across the battery wire it was hot even when the car is turnt off came to find out that red jumper wire was no good
