I watched your video last week and being the nerd for tools as I am I bought the woodraphic tool and can’t wait to start using it. Thanks for the videos.
Oh that's awesome! I'm thinking about getting a few more of those. I've had my eye on their 4'' square! Hope it works out for you! Really impressed with them so far!
I have more time to work in my shop since retired, so this makes an old woodworking nerd. Always enjoy your videos, and a good amount of useful information. Keep up the good work. Thanks from one nerd to another nerd.
Thank you so much for watching triplej1975! Great year, the year when I was born! :) So happy for you in your retirement. If I was retired I would be putzing around my shop each and every day! Thank you so much for watching! :)
Oh thank you so much Kevin! I appreciate that. I've had a few duds that I've ordered over the last year, that I'm actually thinking about making a video on as well as a sort of buyer beware. Thanks so much for watching!
Oh, there is no other way to go in my shop in the summer. I've been running fans and they can barely keep the sweat off my brow! :) Thanks for watching Damon!
I have always been an accuracy nerd. I am even nerdy enough to look forward to the start of your videos to watch the film clips. Keep up the great work that you do!
“Nerd” - I love your videos. You always find some of the most useful woodworking tools. I have bought several of the tools you have recommended because your videos are very thorough and justify the your reasoning for buying them. Thank you for the opportunity! Keep posting the videos
Thank you so much Dtheater! I really appreciate that. I'm having a lot of fun finding those uncommon tools that don't get featured that often. I might not normally buy some of these tools, but this channel gives me an excuse to explore new tools. Thank you so much for watching! :)
Me too! That was probably one of my favorites from this video, I'm actually covering the woodgraphic tools in an upcoming vide as well! Thanks for watching Walt!
Oh my goodness, I was just thinking about that this week. I will make a video on it soon. The problem is that I need to relearn how to use it properly. It's been about a year since I used it so I need to dig up the manual and relearn it. Thank you for the reminder and thanks for watching jtmin1!
At age 64, I am still only semi-retired. But now, after retiring from my lawn care "business", I am finally able to devote the majority of my time to my favorite pastime - woodworking. Even though the walls in my shop resemble a big box store, there are still tools I don't have. Whoda thunk it? I'm not so much of a nerd as I am a geek when it comes to woodworking thingamajigs, thingamabobs, domafloppies, and whatchamacallits. But I will happily use the word "nerd" in this comment for a chance to win the affordable bilateral laser distance meter that's accurate and easy to read made by Inkerma. Thanx for allowing me to check out all five tools with you today. I like the style of Flynndogg Woodwork. So keep on keepin on!
You are so kind MichShopRat, you sound like me. An avid collector of tools, that I may or may not need, but at the time of purchase I know I'm going to need it someday until the day I actually need it and I forget where I put it. I love thingamajigs, thingamabobs, domafloppies, and whatchamacallits. Thanks for making me smile this evening! :)
@@FlynndoggWoodworkFlynndoggWoodwork your reply made me nod my head in agreement. It even made me LOL when you mentioned forgetting where you put tools after you buy them. That's how I end up with duplicate tools. It's funny how they mysteriously reappear once I buy a replacement. O well. My son, who is a Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant, is usually the benefactor of duplicate tools. Be blessed!
@@MichShopRat Haha! Well I'm glad I'm not the only one! and i guess you aren't wasting your money if you have an awesome person to give your duplicates to! Very cool that your son is part of the Marine Corps! You must be very proud!
Thanx,@@FlynndoggWoodworkFlynndoggWoodwork. Yes, I am very proud of my son and his successful career in the Corps. When will you be announcing the winner of the Inkerma bilateral distance meter? Or, did I miss the announcement?
@@MichShopRat Very cool. I will be doing a drawing next week I plan on posting the results on my community page next week. Nope you didn't miss out! :)
Just starting out in my DIY woodworking nerd career after semi retiring and this channel is very informative and just what I was looking for, I love the way you go into detail on each tool that your showing and how you found a low cost alternative tool that will do the same as those higher priced ones. I also like how you keep it interesting by throwing in funny antics, thanks for posting and keep rocking on.
Thanks so much Randy! Glad you like the channel! I'm having a lot of fun with it. I actually have a video coming out next Saturday that is going to pick apart all of my woodpeckers tools. You might like it. I talk about which ones I use, which ones I don't and some cheaper alternatives. Thanks so much for commenting and watching!
Thanks so much philip! You'll want to check out one of my videos in the next week or two on alternatives for all woodpeckers tools. Just got done filming it! Thanks for watching!
You are enjoying getting out of the house so much(good to see) that you are going to have to pickup a snowmobile so you can get out the 10 months. See ya. JimE
I don't think of myself as a nerd, more like a man who loves tools and gadgets:) I like the way how you do your videos, those little scenes that you incorporate are really funny:) Keep it up:)
Thanks so much! I appreciate that. Those little clips sometimes take me just as long as filming the vidoes :) I'm glad a few people are appreciating them. I think a little comic relief is always fun! :) Thanks for watching!
