@@aihope8350 While this has been learned from experience (go find those who will value you), it has also been learned from experience that how you estimate yourself can affect how others may estimate you. That is, under confidence or naïveté may invite those who wish to take advantage of that, while overconfidence can invite those who wish to outdo you or who may believe you blindly. Huh… While it now seems clear that both extremes fall within the same recommendation to find those who value you (since the scenarios above mentioned may occur less easily). Edit: Also clarifying for one to possess enough confidence of their worth to continue to move forward in life (not too little that it risks inviting those who may take unfair advantage, and not too much that it could invite people highlighting the higher stakes that could arise in over promising).

Can u tell me one thing See I love a girl but she do late reply once or twice and I block her since I ask somebody they said if she replies u fast before but now late May be not interested and she don't text me much but still she stares me at class when I was 12 I don't know that she ignored or not We both have very much misunderstanding And this got to make us we don't talk for a year almost She asked once about me by my friend if he is coming to farewell party but I didn't go And I am very weak in chatting with girl She was the first one to whom I text and talk very much it's 4 years If u want to whole story pls tell me and tell me what should I do hope u will help me 😢

People told me that I was too stupid to flip burgers and now I am an engineer... I was called worthless, and now I am praised by my work. Moving to an other country allowed me to escape the social-economical bounds. Now people are nice to me, as if I changed, but I did not.

@@tparker2095 thanks but there really is nothing to be proud of. I was just fighting for comfort as we all do and I was lucky to find a nice place. My point here is that flipping burgers is hard, but people don't appreciate. You get judge before you had a chance to prove your self.

The same can be true the other way around, when a wealthier person is judged as having more talent than they actually do and someone from a lower class that has the talent they lack gets dismissed. We shouldn't judge worth based upon appearances or "placement"

It's strange, when you have been raised to greet the janitor's helper with the same respect as the landlord, to constantly find so many others so eager to disrespect and devalue. How much better would life be if kindness and respect weren't so often treated like hostages.

Great lesson there. If you're trying to get something done and someone keeps pestering you with abstract questions set them a random job that'll get them out of your hair for three days. Here's my favourite "Zen parable" from Terry Pratchett: “If you trust in yourself. . .and believe in your dreams. . .and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

I've worked in vegetable markets and in art galleries and I can assure you that some guy turning up with a rock wouldn't get anyone's attention except Security. The message here implies you only need to change the situation to be appreciated and lots of people want to hear that because the majority of us don't stand out from the billions of other people just like us. Instead of trying to locate a value by comparison to money (a capitalist allegory, not Zen) and the opinions of others, the journey we need to take is inwards to still the incessant voice asking "What am I worth? Do I have value? Am I important?". That inner voice is never happy and always asks "Is this enough?". Zazen is the practice of 'just sitting' and allowing thoughts, doubts, anxiety to come and go, slowly learning to pay less and less attention to them. The voice will always be there but it isn't your voice. A Zen master might be more likely to tell the monk to sit facing a wall for an hour or two every day for several years until eventually the monk no longer asks the question.

People who are saying that the stone is similar to a person are partially correct. Yes we need people in our lives who would embrace us, guide us, help us to unlock our potential, to see the good in ourselves and also in others. But here's the thing a stone is just a stone and it would constantly require the help of others to get its value but we as a living being we just need a push, the rest we would work out by ourselves because we have a brain to think and a heart to follow. So just stop waiting for someone to guide you, to accept you, work hard on your skillsamd once your hardwork captures someone's attention then they would guide you.

I took a stone to a vegetable market and no one wanted it because the people there are looking for something to eat. Then I took it to a museum and no one wanted it because artists don’t have money and they would rather find their own stone anyway. Then I took it to the antique shop and no one wanted it because it’s common and doesn’t have any craftsmanship attached to it.

i was left by the person i love and it made me realize that i was not worthy enough to be someone's lover and he made me feel less, after he stop what we had he immediately found someone and started dating with others. but because of this video, it made me realize that maybe he was not the right person for me because he made me feel less and cause too much pain, maybe I'll find my true love with someone else
