First, I am a strong (some would say "rabid") Christian. So I do recognize the Bible (as assemble and understood in the Christian mainstream) to be the "Message of God" primarily. Therefore historically correct in context with that purpose. I am also cognizant of the time lapse involved being possibly different than the traditional reading and comprehension. Regarding Noah's Ark; I have long noted the scripture does not claim the landing place of the Ark not as Mount Ararat, but '...the mountains of Ararat'. At this, one must consult with the knowledge of ancient philology to ascertain the facts regarding how long (far back in time) the same physical place was known as the 'mountains of Ararat'. The underlying question being is this the same place, either specifically or generally, as the location given in Genesis. Of further consideration is the era involved. Genesis was written during the time of the Israelite departure from slavery in Egypt and arrival (more or less?) of the Israelite community in what is now called Israel. Genesis speaks of further ancient events, but the key information was what did the writer intend. In any event, there has been a good while since the global flood. I would not expect the wood to be pristine. Could Jesus have used the boat shown? It's possible; possibly in the same manner I 'could' win the lottery. One would also be interested in how many of such boats were usable around the sea of Galilee during the time period. Interesting thought, but His presence or not is rather non-consequential. Nor will the water He walked upon will be displayed, either.

If you check the Bible, you will find that King David was the father of King Solomon, not the other way round.. See 2 Samuel 12, verse 24 .

The books of the Bible are absolutely considered historical documents as they are real documents written by real people and confirmed through other iron age historians who were not Christians but referenced authors, books and stories as well as naming people in the Bible.
