This is an amazing series of videos !!! Congratulations Fpmt for making them - may they serve and inspire as many people as possible :) I was thinking that it would be amazing to continue this series - module 10, 11, ..., 90, 100 etc :) There are so many many more things to explore after this stage of discovering Buddhism. This video format on For example is very very helpful for this age perhaps. And because this is an amazing format it seems almost sure that continuing this series would benefit even more people. So any news on continuing this series ? And if not how can we get involved so that we can continue to make further videos similar to these ones about other Buddhist topics as well ? These kind of public, summarized teachings from teachers that have this amazing gift of translating the teachings for the modern day mind - this is just amazing. Thank you again and best Dharma Wishes !!!

How about rewriting and re-framing Buddhism in the following way: (1) life ist happiness. What are the causes of happiness? (2) Wisdom, generosity and loving positive intent towards all beings. (3) Its is possible to get there by (4) studying and practicing the noble 8-fold path. Also the whole 12 steps can be presented in a positive circle: "that´s the way (aha aha) we like it (aha, aha)". Don´t we want all beings to become enlightened ASAP? It might be time to start thinking outside the box?

( 1) Try to say Life is happiness to the long-term unemployed , the handicapped , the disease ridden- people , the poor , the old - the victims of domestic violence , the slaves ( in Ethiopia slavery is still there ), female Muslim who wear burka and so on . To many people life has many happy moments , but they are momentary , not last long - Any happiness will soon be followed by suffering - in fact "suffering" is translated from Dukkha - Dukkha mainly means Unsatisfactoriness , it can include annoyance , regret, grief , physical pain , mental pain , sadness , disappointment , despair , ill , evil , stress , too cold , too hot , boring ect ... any negative feelings . This minute You're happy , next minute you can't find you key , you got angry - right ? , that is dukkha ( 2) whose life is happier than a life of prince ? especially a crowned prince like Siddartha ? young , handsome , healthy , richest , had power of a son of a King, a beautiful wife and a lovable son - can have any material things he want - why he left that to go forth ? . If the Prince thought life is happiness , we won't have Buddha - dharma . who need liberation from hapiness ? and everybody have been happy in darkness ? If life is happiness , the 4 noble truths becomes 4 horrible truths - ( 1) life is hapiness ( 2) happiness comes from our good heath , money , power . (3) there is a way to destroy happiness ( 4) follow 8-fold paths : wrong thought ( learn of gambling, drinking, taking drug, bad investment ,.. ) , wrong doing ( practice them ) , wrong job ( become mercenary ) , ...

I understand your obvious good intention - your number 2 are what the Buddhists have to cultivate to attain Compassion . I see the funny side of the number ( 1) .

I guess prostration is the physical practice of buddhism. It's not enough, the body needs more training.

That makes sense to you 😀😀😯😉😈😈😈😈😈, earth is planet suffering , focus on suffering and find disgust and anger. Anger meditation can be used to increase anger , anger can be measured by .the amount of pain you desire to inflict on a evil being.😀😯😉😈😈😈😈😈😈

When you say, "Ignorant". Are you taking the original definition: Ignorance is derived from the old Latin word, "Ignore"... This means that the person knows the facts, or has been educated on the topic, BUT...willfully chooses to ignore the facts and do or say something to the contrary. In legal terms, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." then make sense, We cannot ignore a stop sign while driving and state that we chose not to obey the law as a defense for the crime. Or... are you using the word "Ignorant" to mean uneducated..? Ignorant is often confused with the word Nescience. (which means uneducated). Many unenlightened people us the word stupid unkindly, "stupid" refers to those who do not have the capacity to learn. (which I find extremely sad and we need to have compassion for these people and assist them with life. So much of the terminology needs to be defined so that we are on the same page with our understanding and comprehension of the meaning. The word Refuge has several meanings in English. And no one has really given a clear definition. I'm humble to say that this is confusing to me.

The speakers conflate and confuse mind, self, consciousness, heart, still they pretend to guide you...how could they ? is the most stupid sentence you could hear in a Spiritual context, is as ridiculous, and shows a total ignorance as where those Spiritual levels are situated !
