I miss Curtis. I spent every winter except the last two vacationing up there in the Winter for 23 years straight. It's a special place with a lot of special people. Seeing that I'm moving to the UP this year, I'll likely visit again and rekindle the memories. Thanks Dan. I've always liked you but now I know what makes you tick. Fishing's awesome yes, but it's God Himself Who brings everything to life, both for our benefit and His glory.

That's awesome, my family spends allot of time in the Curtis area in the fall and summer, gonna have to get the kids up there and try this next year. Great job to everyone involved in putting this on, and thanks discovering for covering it!

I have been gone from the Upper Peninsula for 13 yrs and moved back recently. I missed this show. But the old theme song, even though the same was much better when it wasn't spoken. And sad to have lost Buck R.I.P. Buck, thank you for the great content and continuing what Buck started so many years ago.

I'm from Ohio. I actually got snagged on the fence in June a long time ago cause it had not been removed. Pole went flying out of the boat. Next day was sunny and calm. Saw my rapala in the the fence. put on a treble hook . Got my pole back but could not shake my lure loose. Another summer I caught one of those rainbows on a rapala. Turned in loose since at that time licenses were not for all species.

Excellent 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 Great to see people getting together, bringing a program together for kids & families. We're not getting much ice during winters anymore, here in southern michigan sadly. Our tip up festivals are pretty much gone, as are much family involvement.. due to less and less ice each winter.
