rhythm ta is actually iKON's debut song, and absolutely although they have branched out into other genres, iKON is at their root still a hiphop group!

Bling Bling came out in 2017 and Mic Drop came out in 2018.

That's Bobby at 16:37. The only kpop idol to have ever won Show me the money, a rap survival show in korea. He competed against underground rappers and broke prejudice against idol rappers. He did it while he was in another survival show and while he still a trainee. An indication of his tenacity and mental strength. Both he and B.I. are the heart of iKON. They basically self produced (mostly B.I.- also the only idol who have won a songwriter of the year award) all of iKONs discography. All that while they were still teenagers. So proud of these boys! They have the swag and they actually have the talent to back it up.

I know u are a BTS's fan, so u might be getting a lot more surprises in the future, as u watch more of YG's artist (especially bigbang and ikon)'s MVs or performances. Because, u will feel like "why there's a lot of similarities?!", "why it feels like BTS MVs or BTS performances?!". But, in fact, YG artists have done it before them. Thank you for learning btw. iKON is the one group that can produce variety of different styles of music and still sound freaking amazing. iKON is the genre!! I haven't heard a bad song from them honestly. Versatile artists. Sammy, if B.I caught your eye, you can listen to his solo stuff. I'm sure you'll be amazed by illa illa, cosmos or waterfall ❤️

Ju-ne has an underrated voice I love his raspy voice, so beautiful

They get you hyped, but they can also give you heart ache. Listen to their amazing slower songs cause the way they incorp their rapline in them is also Unique for IKON. *Wait for me(pre debut song) *apology And ofcourse Climax, the song they had in their survival show against Winner.

Ikon is amazing hope you can react more. BI is an angel and an amazing songwriter and producer. He left the group because he didn't want the group to be affected by the scandal he go into. He's amazing. Check out some of his solo stuff too.

BLING BLING and MIC Drop are both from 2017. But BLING BLING was released several months earlier.

I can say this bling-bling video is release 1st 2016-2017 mic drop is 2018 so its mean that this bling-bling MV first release than mic drop. So i know you never compare the bts MV'S. But i you know that even we all know that yg never copy the ideas when it come doing the mv's. They have the only one idea and unique idea, even kpop world can copy there styles and unique's not yg fam.

You missed the heartbreak side of iKON😂 They have a buckload of those type of songs. I recommend apology, beautiful, goodbye road and I'm okay!

There’s only two groups I Stan full on. BIGBANG came first and through them iKON. They to me epitomize they trifecta of talent, stage presence,and charisma/swag. I love them in the live performances so much.

My own journey with ikon is like walking into a maze, weather it's their discography or their own journey as an artists, you don't know what you'll get in the next turn. It can be a fireworks, or a raging thunder, or a soft gigantic cotton candy, or a lovey dovey story, or it can be a dark black hole that depressed you right away, or a flowery path. Ikon is highly unexpected. Instead of changing genres, they are crossing and mixing genres (in every single album since their very first debut). Try to react to one of their full album once, then you know what I mean. Instead of baby bts I think they're more like baby bigbang. But still, they have their own identity with their music. And yeah, bobby is crazy, and B.I is chopper

iKON is really one ok a kind group, they are really known by their hiphop from their debut time although they have their own very strong identity and so good with rock ballads too, they are from the same company as Blackpink and their base are on hiphop. Bling Bling was relesead on the beggining of 2017, and is a very kind of iKON song. The one you like is BOBBY and he is a well known kpop idol among public and undergorund rappers in Korea cause he won SHOW ME THE MONEY 3, a very famous survival show for undergoround rappers. he was the first idol to come to the program and and actually was atrainee at that time and if my memory is not wrong, he was like 17 years old that time!? You need to listen his solos songs... its fireee.. well I just put some informations in case you are interested to know more about them. 😊❤

iKON is so talented esp their live performance. Also since you like B.I's voice he's now solo artist and will release his new single called "BTBT" with Soulja Boy feat. DeVita on May 13 i hope you'll check it out and make a video reaction too. Also he was debut as solo singer last year with full album "Waterfall" and tittle track "Illa Illa" and second album release on November last year called "Cosmos". Maybe you can make a reaction for those videos as well.

As you react to a lot of YG artists especially the more "hype" songs you will see the party like switch up at the end of songs, pretty much a YG signature. It's understandable since you are coming from being a BTS fan to see some similarities. Pretty much any group with a hiphop concept especially in their early days tends to give off that similar styling vibe then as they get older styling evolves. And yeah that one scene in Bling Bling is semi similar, just happened months before Mic Drop was released so I had the reverse thought when Mic Drop came out I was like oh RM poppin out like iKon. I know some people will get picky about comparisons but its natural when you see things similar to something you know much better. I think people get more annoyed when reactors always compare to BTS but make it seem like BTS was first/better always in their comparisons which I have seen, but you are genuine with your thoughts and wanting to learn.

HIGHLY recommend you check out Bobby's solo work! It's insane! The one I think you'll enjoy the most is "U Mad"

iKON live performances are better than MVs simply because of their energy and you can hear the uniqueness of each of their voices. I would suggest their stage on MAMA 2015 when they were rookies. Goodbye Road on Dingo Live to hear just their vocals or any other radio live performance and for dance, Killing Me and I'm okay!

2018 was such a wonderful year for kpop, one of my favorites. Love Scenario was HUGE, it was absolutely everywhere (in the world of kpop) that year. You should check out Pentagon's song Shine which was another massive hit from that year.

actually iKON might come with a rythm ta or bling bling again as they really like that sound, you should really check DRAGON in their new mini album but since the begining there are soft songs, all of their songs have in common basically the swag i guess

you should watch their live performances they are monster, you will be surprised by bobby, literally he jump from one stage into other stage lol i thou i was watch heavy metal band but its kpop idol group 😂🤣 also their adlibs is fuckin crazzzyyy when singing live 🤩

Love scenario was like THE song of 2018.....if you were in kpop at that time, even if you don't know the song, you WILL know "sarangeul hettaaaaa urina mannaaaaa" to describe it was like weeekly's after school in 2020 or BTS butter/dynamite/PTD.....that song was EVERYWHERE

Kpop fans must have been familiar with Love Scenario, Killing Me, Rythm Ta, or My Type, and Goodbye Roas. These songs are their top songs tho. But iKON also have so many great side tracks, the famous one is Best Friend, you'll be shocked when you search for that song and you go like heyy that was iKON who sang it? Their ballad songs are also gold, apology, airplane, jerk, just for you, dont forget, flower, and the newest one from Flashback album titled Name.

I suggest you listen to the Live "Just Go" their concert in JApan, you will hear their vocals is no joke. And one more thing it's a YG thing, and IKON songs are all nice no joke. I assure you.

Everything contained within their mv’s is based on “concepts" (whatever’s trending at the moment) which anyone who buys the rights can use, and will appear in many videos and then quickly move on to the next trend. At the end of the day it’s a business they seldom have much say in. Being continuously compared to others as if to gain popularity/views…who knows…probably some are fine with it but more importantly, you also are a content creator so your content should always reflect what you would want others to say about you. It’s that simple.
