Hiya. Am always surprised by Kansas City never looking 'busy'. Know what I mean? The group bronze monument is an outstanding piece of work, btw. Oh, and can you kindly stop 'rubbing it in' with all the footage of sunshine!? Thank you. Stay safe. All the best to you.
I've had crepes on my mind and wonder if I should attempt making them. I'm in the middle of reading "All the Devils are Here" by Louise Penny (#16 Armand Gamache series). This particular book takes place in Paris. I just finished reading a part in the book where Armand Gamache (sugar and butter) and his son (Nutella and banana) buy crepes, walk and eat them. Louise Penny had me at Nutella. You mean to tell me that when I was a kid and would have orange soda with some milk added I was drinking a French soda? I liked it because it reminded me of a Creamsicle. Kansas City looks like a nice place to live. Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like an interesting book! I've never tried to make crepes before. It seems like it would be hard to do because they are so thin! If you make them let me know how they turn out. Mmm, I love a Creamsicle. I guess you were drinking a French soda! Thanks 😃
Glad you enjoyed the trip! I love Kansas City's fountains. Fun! I've never heard about Volker Park's hippie history. A Swope Park tour sounds like a fantastic idea-I'll definitely consider it for future content.
