In this video I ride the White Tiger and find a cemetery deep in the Ozarks along a river that has many of my earlier kin folk buried in it and also I take a look at an old water mill that was once owned by my ancestors.
That’s very cool to see your history and going back to a totally different era…it’s something to think back to those days and what life was like…good job and thanks
I was just at that mill today while riding my bike. Very cool place. Interesting about your great, great, grandparents. Times were sure tough back then. I love the history we have here in the ozarks.
That cave is a good size one. It's got a dangerous bacteria that grows in it and why the County has it closed off. That spring flows 28 million gallons a day 58F right from the aquifer. Its called Hodgson Mill. It was our general store til it burned down in '64.
Another great video as always. This one was especially interesting with finding family members... I get around that area every couple weeks when I go to Mountain Home and on the way back I go north on hwy. 201 from Mountain Home to Gainesville and then take hwy. 5 north to Ava on the way back to Springfield
Another great video John. Would you highly recommend the Tiger 800, l thought the C F MOTO may have been better but I've always liked the Triumph triple, might buy a 2012 Triumph next year, God willing.
Good to hear from you sir, the Triumph is a bullet proof bike for sure.. I have 25,000 miles on mine and have never had an issue of any kind with it... thanks for watching and keep safe out there... :)
@Ozarks Backroads: big families, growing your food... you speak like that's in the past. Folks here in Ozarkistan still live that way. By choice more than necessity. Thanks for visiting us. Hope you stopped at Roy's in Dora. Ozark County was 100% depopulated during the Civil War. It wasnt restlled til a decade AFTER the Civil War. That includes the entire Luna (originally Luney clan).
