The CT smoke in the first one is actually good. Site smokes can be good on ecos but otherwise they allow enemies to easily flood onto site. Notice that Raze was hesitant to push through Omen's smoke and had no space to work with resulting in her dying to market. Sometimes I notice you try to give out tips that are not fully optimal. It can subjective at times but that's where pro VODS come into play, where top players show us how it's done. It'd be better having some proof (even if that requires a bit more work, but finding specific clips is actually very easy) instead of misdirecting even if it has good intentions.

3:15 The commenter is right. Even if you know where the enenmy team is playing postplant from it's better to smoke spike not because of "finding" them but because of spam. Smoking A main in that clip meant that they can freely spam spike with their rifles and it's HARDER to push them in return, ESCPECIALLY when they have mollies left their job becomes so much easier. You got away with it that time but generally smoke spike so that your teammates can see and fight anybody that's trying to spam and prevent utility from being thrown on the spike.

0:45 I already see ppl saying this but the ct smoke is actually what you are supposed to do smokeing close means that enemies who are hideing on site have a free smoke to hide in/behind. This is especially a nightmare for dualist players who are trying to make space for your team and now they have to push their own teams smokes. Pls don't ever do this on sunset it always happens in lower/mid elo and can singel handedly lose games.

3:14 the comment is correct, the reason you should smoke the spike most of the time is because the enemy then cant try and spam the defuser for free while still achieving the same goal of putting the pressure on attackers since they don't know if you're sticking the defuse and provides the same cover.

Smoking the defuser is always better if you have teammates alive. So the enemy can't just spam you without being exposed and your team can protect or trade the defuser if he dies. If you're the last one alive and don't want to ninja, then it's better to smoke the chokepoint so you can get off the spike and try to kill him.

i think smoking the bomb is better when you have a teammate alive so they can keep fighting while the enemy spams

clove ultimate in a 1 v 1 explained: basically, you can only ultimate when your the last person left if the game wouldn't usually end when you die, for instance if you plant the spike and you die, the game wouldn't end immediately as you have to wait for the spike to either explode or be diffused, HOWEVER if you are in a 1v1 and the enemy team planted, you wouldn't be able to ult as the game ends as soon as all the defenders are dead no matter if the spike hasn't exploded yet. in conclusion, if the game was to end at that moment if you didn't alt, then you cant ult, if the game kept going even after all your team is dead, due to the spike ticking, then you can alt.

0:20 your Omen's smoke on market was better than yours. The way you did it gives enemy more cover to hide after they peek out from smoke. It's the same principle as the Ascent Heaven A smoke

I got a radiant friend that says that clove can plant the spike similar as gekko with her butterfly and can revive other teamates, I think hes trolling me but could you confirm if this is true?

You should always smoke the spike no matter what cause if you smoke the spike they cant spam it without the risk of u or ur teammates swinging them if you smoke main they can safely spam the spike and easyly kill you

Your logic on why smoke spike on retake vs smoking main is incorrect. If you smoke main, the round becomes a 50/50 spam fest. If you smoke spike, to shoot the defuser they have to peek out which means other players on your team can see them and shoot back. Defuser becomes the distraction. Even on a 1vX smoking spike is advantages because 1. They can't know for sure if the spike is being defused, unless they push all the way into your smoke. 2. You can play around the smoke, it's like a Jett entry smoke basically. Think about it a little you'll get it.

You should ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS smoke the spike and not main. The reason for that is, if you smoke main and they start spamming, you, or your teammates, can't punish them consistently for doing that. You are essentially giving them cover to spam more freely. And if you know that they are main, you should especially not smoke it off, because then you know exactly where to hold them, once they come out to peek after the spike has been tapped. Trust me, smoking main after the spike is down is only good, when you are beginning your retake and are pushing back onto site. But once you have site control, pls for the love of god, let the main smoke dissapate and just smoke the spike. It will make your life so much easier and your enemy has less of a chance to secure the round. I learned this advice from a radiant coach, so I think you can trust me on this. I know Mr.Lowlander is trying to help you from his point of view, but from what I've been told (from radiant level players), it is ALWAYS better to smoke off the spike and not main, when you have to defuse. It is all about denying information while giving yourself the advantage and forcing the enemy to make a mistake.

For the first tip, isn’t it better to take more space? Theres duelists for that so don’t be afraid. Also if you smoke short then retaking is hella easy since the enemies can camp the smoke and wait for team. Even worse is if the enemies have comms, then smoking short is basically giving away the round. But I will say this, sometimes if you are on eco/behind in rounds then it’s better to smoke short and play main. That’s how I came back from a 7-12 deficit to 12-12, we still lost but it’s crazy that we dominated with just half the site.

Imo, it's always better to smoke the rather than main (assuming the attacker is there). Here's why I think so- 1. If the attacker spams the spike and doesn't get the kill after the tap, he might panic amd push through the smoke. If the smoke is close to him, he can simply walk inside the smoke and swing out. But if the bomb is smoked, he has to travel a longer distance which will force him to run. This will alert the diffuser. 2. If its a 2v1 or 2v2 situation, if main is smoked, the defender who is not diffusion has no option other than spamming the smoke or pushing the smoke to cover the diffuser. On the other hand if the bomb is smoked, the attackers can't juat spam the bomb but also worry about the other teammate.

Smoking the spike is always better when it's 5v5 or 3v3, or there's more enemies than teammates alive, bcs they can just spray through the smoke if someone's sticking. A little different if they have pistols, but you know what I mean

I always become match mvp whereas my teammates doesn't even get 15+ kills in plat lobby I'm hard stuck everyone throws even after motivating them and because of this I thing there is some matchmaking issues too how come silver player comes in my match I really deserve ascendent 3 or immortal atleast and if I try to get more better for which I need some good player widely they are arrogant I can be radient too and I wanted to work hard and become esports personality but the support I get is zero why online guys are too arrogant when they hit higher rank they doesn't even give me a chance to destroy enemies of there lobbies 😢

Wrong take on the smoke. You don't need site control in that situation, you need to deny information if you're defusing or not. If you smoke their face, all they gotta do is spam though, aiming for the spike. You, on the other hand, wont't have a reference point to shoot if you do that smoke. Just don't do it boys.

11:20 im tired of ppl smoking heaven way too deep before the site is taken. At that point, the smoke is blocking the same sightline to main with the wall anyway. People can peek out for a single kill and tuck behind wall with no chance to trade the guy they killed.

Clove ultimate will always work as long as your death doesn’t end the round. So if you have teammates alive or if you’re on attack and the spike is planted then it’ll work. Otherwise it won’t.

Even if you know where the enemies are you should still smoke the spike, because if you smoke main they can just spam you, if you smoke bomb they cant spam you without exposing themself to your mates

Controller main here. You have to put your smokes a little deeper. If you put them too far out on site you give the enemy more spots to exit the smokes. Love your content btw. keep up the good work. :)

you can press X again to come out from dismiss fast it’s same as reyna’s dismiss

08:35 haven't read other comments yet so unsure if this was mentioned before, but you can cancel your "dismiss" by pressing x again to get back in the fight faster

The guarding trick is genius but why didnt he just get an aries for the ult and pick up his vandal after, seems like that vandal stayed on the floor or did we miss someone taking it

Tip for Mr Lowlander: unswing after a kill don’t swing wider to take another fight especially on defense, trades favor the attackers.

Did you know/ Its weird that clove can ult while kayo is ulting. Seems like Kayo ult only affects living agents and not dead ones...

if u still have your team alive i think smoking spike is way better smoking main will make it harder for your team to fight for the defuse cus the enemy team can spam spike

You should smoke off the spike because then your teammates can peek main , if you smoke main the enemies can just spray without getting punished

You should almost always smoke the spike, that way if you have another teammate alive they will HAVE to peek into them. If you smoke main, then the enemy team can just spray through the smoke, and you will be the one who has to peek through it

Sorry mister low lander but I think you are wrong!!! If you are retaking, also in the round on breeze, you should smoke the bomb. or else they could just spam the smoke. If bomb is smoked, you can tap it to fake it and the enemy MUST push out because they can not see if you are on or not. Tenzz also says this

another thing to think about is when you ult, if your time is running low and the enemy is on eco its better to stay back as you dont want to give the enemy a free gun

I don't know if you noticed but you can cancel the "dismiss" form early when you ult like reyna, it can be helpfull to came back faster in some situations

With that aim, I don't even know how you are ascendant

careful about dome smokes too far out of the choke point, like the door on ascent A, you can let someone(a rat) stay in the wrong side if it's too far out

u can get out of clove ultimate early like reyna's dismiss !! so at 8:32 or so you could have just pressed x again to get out of it and shoot earlier.
