Lovely! You inspire me to visit parts of England that I hadn’t heard of. Beautiful country. I love the drone shots. Great to see more of Will on camera and filming.
I recently discovered your channel and am so happy I dod. I am enjoying the towns and land and sea scapes. I really appreciate the information you share. Thank you for taking the rest of us with you!
Lovely video 😍 enjoyed very much as always. Your ur videos are so enchanting, im just addicted watching😊 especially the narration.. after 5 days busy life, your video of beautiful exploration is so worth of relaxation & entirely soothing. Thanks for sharing 👍
Another excellent Video from beginning to end! What an absolutely beautiful area! As well as being so quaint & charming! Also, superb filming & footage, along with such an interesting & informative Commentary. Thank you for sharing another delightful experience! Blessings to you both!
It was a delightful place, so glad we stayed in a quiet little village. Lovely in the evening to just pop to the pub and chat to the locals. So friendly. Felt like home for sure.
Hello again, Im loving this new series. Nice to see a short change of narrator there lol. I see you had your coat on later Will, we could do with a bit of that rain. As a golfer I cant imagine looking up from a shot to see some random walkers wandering across the fairway, but I guess if you played there youd be used to it. Looking forward to next weeks walk. Cheers Cheryl 😍
Haha he should have had it with him, I did say it looked like rain before we left! There are lots of footpaths around the golf course I guess they are used to it but walkers have to be aware as well. It’s not funny being hit by a golf ball!
I loved the combination of local history and beautiful nature landscapes. Having such a comfortable base to explore the area must have been great. Thanks for another brilliant video.
Nice video, and it brings back so many memories from being a kid too an adult. I'm a Northumbrian and myself and my family used to holiday all the way along the coast from Amble to Berwick upon tweed. The coastline is stunning and second to none with miles upon miles of beaches but the biggest factor is the weather with more rain and cloud than sun. Northumberland is a beautiful county inland as well as the coast. i remember stopping many times in Craster to buy kippers for my dad on our way back home as he loved Craster kippers and said they were the best. Thanks for the memories.
We certainly stirred the memories for you! Our brief visit certainly gave us the same feelings. Amazing coastline and charming villages each with something special like the kippers at Craster! Thanks for watching 😊
A beautiful beach with stunning views. The cottage y'all stayed in was adorable. It was nice to see Will 😄! Thanks so much. Really enjoying this series❤
Those two villages were beauties guys, perfect for a walk around to build up a thirst thus FORCING a person into the arms of one of those excellent pubs to quench the thirst! Wonderful coastline.
We so enjoy watching your videos as part of our leisurely Sunday morning routine. Great to hear from Will…but don’t forget your waterproof jacket next time. 😅
Yet another wonderful video from such a stunning part of UK. Will looks happier this time, which suits him more than walking along with his head down and looking sad. We both love watching Escape to the Country, and between those videos and your videos we are seeing how beautiful the UK really is. Always looking forward to finding your latest efforts. Keep up the great work 😊.
Haha he may appear that way but he is not. A very happy positive person. Just not so keen to been on the camera as I am, but sometimes he can be enticed. Hoping he will do it a bit more, as others have enjoyed seeing him.
Please don't scold Will for leaving his raincoat behind. 😂 Those are some interesting looking sheep. The BGM when showing the Dunston Castle is haunting. Who is it by?
The churches and castles are stunning buildings wherever you go, so many gifted builders and artisans. Ha ha I would have certainly had some smoked fish =-) Thank you again so love your channel.
I much enjoyed this video - thankyou ! 'Visiting' my home country from the US tends to make me a bit weepy & homesick. but none of us can be everywhere, so I am very appreciative of people like you who spend time making such videos so the world can see what we are missing. I'm too old now to come over again, and my kids are this side of the Atlantic too, so here I stay ! Thing is when you have so many RU-vid videos available now it is possible to see masses of places you would never get to in a whole lifetime - so thanks for a wonderful job !
Thank you for the lovely comment. We love visiting new places and bring them to you. Whilst you cannot visit again at least your family is with you which is most important. You have the fond memories of Blighty as well. 😊
@@MemorySeekers It's a big country with very few people compared to the UK and Europe so most local Councils provide facilities for free just to attract visitors to their small part of it. Same for vehicle parking charges in all but large coastal cities.
I live near here & infact bought fish today from the smokehouse. Walk to the castle quite often with the dog. Strange to watch it on you tube but very well done 😊

Late to this one as we've been away ourselves, we have often walked from Craster to Seahouses mostly along the various beaches and obviously stopping at The Ship Inn for a well deserved pint, you didn't mention that they produce their own beers in a little micro brewery out behind the pub.
The garage at Embleton sells Calor gas. Craster - get there early for the car park. The Robson's kippers from Craster are a worthy challenger to Fortune's kippers from Whitby. The pub at Low Newton (The Sun) is good for food (incl great.sandwiches) and drinks BUT on a sunny day many other people will have the same idea, but you can always sit on the Green outside. But in Northumberland the Kings of the Castles live at Warkworth, Alnwick and Bamburgh (is there a better site for a cricket ground than the one in the shadow of Bamburgh?). And the butcher at Bamburgh !! He advertises the business as "Carnivore Heaven".
Thank you for all your tips! Very kind to share. The cricket ground is amazing, quite the setting. We mention the butchers in our next video, sadly I didn’t get a shot of all the good meats on sale but it looked wonderful.
You'll find that we visit about 5 more ☺castles inside over the next few weeks. It was to many for us (overload) to go in all of them. Next we are there we will pick others.
