My grandfather had a massive Koi pond in his front yard in Halifax; it is a shame I don't know what happened to them after he passed.

We went away for a few days, son number one phoned and asked if he could dig a pond in the garden. We said ok. He didn’t tell us he’d hired a digger. We came home to a twenty five by fifteen metre two metre deep hole!!! We got lumbered to pay for the liner! Unfortunately the heron got the koi and we are left with ghost carp (which you can’t see very clearly) and some common or garden gold fish.

Have you considered question and answer when you speak with special guests.

Apparently the koi’s with the sun spot are the most sought after and expensive, I don’t know if that’s true! 🤷‍♀️

Fascinating. Keep showing us your pond and fish every once in awhile. I learned a lot and enjoyed it.
