We lost the summer was a covid summer bop. The lyrics say how our clocks stopped at winter (covid started February) and how it started on the first of March and there were endless nightmare days. The first verse is also about how we used to hang out at school playing sports and sharing earphones but we couldn't do that anymore. We quite literally lost the summer, no one could go out and meet anyone. Txt is known for the boppiest songs with the saddest lyrics🥲
The one song that the title was in all Korean, is called "Puma" it is based in he story of a puma that escaped from a korean zoo, and instead of capturing it they shot and killed it.
It also represents their journey as idols and the puma escaping from the zoo is an analogy for them debuting as idols and leaving trainee life and therefore being subject to the criticism and "laser sights" of the public. They describe it in the song as both terrifying and exhillierating.
"LOVER with a dollar sign is a LO$ER" This is about them growing into young adults and confronting the reality that JUST having LOVE is not enough anymore and there are financial burdens in reality that bring us down and make us "LO$ERS". That is whether it's because we don't have enough money or because we obsess over money and give up on LOVE, either way you become a LO$ER. LOVER is about being a dreamer and having romantic but overall unrealistic ideals about the world and ending up getting hurt when LOVE isn't enough.

@@HU3NINGS +U and Star Seekers are the same storyline. Star Seekers was the rebrand after they came up with the ip name. I'm pretty sure if you go back they edited the info text in all the old +U videos to say Star Seekers.

Personally, and this is coming from someone who’s been into K-pop for a WHILE. "Run Away" is probably one of the BEST K-pop songs ever made. Also u probably know this by now, but the very LONG videos are part of their storyline. So they focus on aspects of the plot more than the actual song the "MV" is for 😂
If you hear Eternally in full audio you'll surely feel whiplash coz it have like a full 360 degrees shift in tune and sounds like 2 different songs but mashed up so perfectly, like im serious one of their best bside even the choreo (saw it thirce on their concerts and its immaculate).

C&D, all MOAs agree, is a _little_ cursed, but way too much fun. It's one of their most popular songs because the members _and_ the fans fully embrace it, cringe and all. It's not my favorite, but I love how much they and MOA love it. -"Run Away" is really special to a lot of the fandom. TXT had a rough patch after debut where two members got sick and one member was injured, and the fandom was decimated in the process. While they got a lot of initial hype (and press, both good and bad) from their debut, being BigHit's second ever boy group, the fact that they almost immediately went silent and then had to delay their first album _twice_ caused a lot of people to turn on them or leave the fandom. But "Run Away" finally came out, and it hit like wildfire. The fans who stuck around as well as new listeners _and_ even other idols were enamored with it. It's still _a_ favorite of many MOAs. -33:53 "Wait, wasn't that from one of the previous music videos?" Yep, that was from "Run Away," the previous title track. (Fun fact about the MV here--originally, Huening Kai was supposed to be the one making angels in the tomatoes because he's associated with the angel imagery, but he couldn't do it because the tomato smell made him physically sick, so Beomgyu did the scene instead despite _hating_ tomatoes.) -Also about "Can't You See Me?" TXT performed this with a full rock arrangement during Lollapalooza this year. Highly recommend listening to it. The song in the background here is "Sweat," which was a secret fan song written by the members. Other than its appearance in this MV, you had to jump through a bunch of hoops to access it (logging into their official fan Weverse, to start) to prove you were a MOA, or at least cared enough about hearing their music. This track was finally revealed entirely during a recent tour, and you can find exactly one (1) official live performance of it on their RU-vid channel. -48:16 "Refraction(s)" is a word, yes, lmao, and you did actually use it correctly since it refers to the way light warps when it hits something (like how when you stick a straw in water, it looks like it's broken if you view it from the side). -48:58 "Is that him as like a baby or something?" Pretty damn close lmao it's supposed to be baby Huening Kai, the same one who was wearing his shoes wrong while practicing in the beginning. Don't worry too much about understanding the lore lol there are MOAs who love figuring out every little detail, MOAs who couldn't care less, and MOAs like me who just take each lore MV as an experience and enjoy the cinematography for what it is. -53:48 "I did not expect it to go this direction--" Yeah, they were hoping we wouldn't XD believe it or not, every bit of music aside from "Sweat" that you heard with vocals in this MV are the same song ("Eternally"). Okay I have been SO confused about this bc it seems like Huening Kai all together is his stage name? But I agree that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe it’s to differentiate from EXO Kai?
@juxtaplicity yeah it is kinda confusing but when kai introduces himself I noticed he says "kai" when speaking English and "hueningkai" when speaking Korean but I'm not totally sure
@@juxtaplicityThat's exactly why his stage name is Hueningkai (he meantioned it in an interview)! And in Chinese content he tends to use Jung Kai, Jung being his mom's maiden name. He honestly goes by many names, Hyuka (Hyu from Huening and Ka from Kai) and Ningning (was used a lot during their debut year but not so much anymore). The members also call him Huening and Jung Kai. It definitely can get confusing.
