Part 2 of my Discovery 4 heater steering wheel retro-fit into my Discovery 3 V8 (LR3).
This video show's you how to install the power loom, remove the airbag, steering wheel, install the new steering wheel & clockspring.
Lots of info.
Clock spring P/N I used was: 9H22-14A664-AA
Although I have seen them listed with the same P/N as the non heated stering wheel version too. (YRC500060). Just make sure it has the extra connector as detailed in the video.

Do all buttons work as normal with the boards installed? What functionality does it bring (if any) to the ‘ok’ button and arrows on the top right.

Hi, All buttons work apart from cruise control. No extra functionality that I can see or been told about. Hope that helps

All buttons work bar the cruise control. You need to go and watch part 1 where I install the new pcb's for this exact reason.

Hey Simon, how re you getting on with yours? Total cost was £235; I managed to find a steering wheel for £55, airbag & Clock spring were £30, and the PCB's loom and shipping were £150.

@@trollmanrs slowly getting there just stripping and buying new bits all the time lol. Got an engine but changing injectors, oil pump belts and idlers and tensioners etc. Also stripping the chassis to treat and paint it all up. Loads of other stuff too 👍

You need to be careful as I have seen ones advertised with the same part number, but clearly some didn't have the extra connector. So it's prob best just to look for that extra connector.
