We love visiting Hervey Bay to see family and we always stay at the Discovery Park / Gday Hervey Bay in Fraser Street. We thought a walkthrough and review might help our fellow travelers make a decision on where to stay.
are there shops near by. how far are the shops. are the shops far or can we walk there. what sort of shops. are the woollys, coles, aldi, you need to tell us
There is about a 5 min walk to the strip of shops which include some takeaways, boutiques, cafes and a few other things. Pretty sure there is a Foodworks there however to get to shops like Woollies, Kmart, Coles etc you need to drive about 10 mins away. You also have at least a 5 min walk to the beach
