This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise. So what did I do for seven days? I started every morning at the gym and then headed for breakfast, where I ate the same thing every day: squid ink smoked salmon. That was by far my favorite thing to eat on the cruise.
I also had a chance to visit two Royal Caribbean private islands in Haiti and the Bahamas. I joined a day excursion in the latter, where visited a rum distillery and toured the maritime academy.
Off the ship, my personal favorite was the free afternoon and evening we had in San Juan. Puerto Rico has been high on my bucket list since I began flying in 1999.
