Discussing The New Life by Tom Crewe 

In this video I discuss my thoughts (and emotions) on The New Life by Tom Crewe. This was a rollercoaster of emotions for me and I loved every second (even through the tears). It is no surprise that this novel made the long list for the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction, and I expect it to make the short list next month. Have you read The New Life? What did you think? I loved the complexity of the plot and the characters and genuinely felt their emotions throughout.
