I’m so so grateful and blessed as I’m having surgery soon on my parathyroid and my surgeon is… Dr Tufano! We have met once so far for consultation and he made me feel so confident with my future surgery and was kind , compassionate and understanding of all my past trauma. Dr’s like him are a rarity.🙏🏻
So thankful for the these progressive doctors and for all the work you have done Jen for those of us who sense that there is a way to keep our precious thyroid.

Some I have contacted directly. Others, I have been fortunate to have been introduced to by others I have encountered along the way. Its been awesome talking to them. I'm learning so much!
Bottom line for the insurance companies is cost. So if we prove that this procedure is going to save them money they will start covering. Just my experience with appeals for other things. I hope mine goes through, but if not I plan to appeal to them at this level. Thanks for the info and insight!
