Discussion | Plight of unemployed doctors 

Wake up South Africa! You might have lots of control over low skilled people that depend on hand outs and grants. But high skilled people are in demand world wide. Treat them badly and they will go where they are appreciated.

But the national Department should have a record of all the Medical Students and those who are in that Department should have a buget and forward that to the minister of Finance and not to the Department because it is obviously clear that the Government The ANC they have free medical Aid and only see private medical clinics and not government hospitals because the government hospitals also have no proper budget and all the government hospitals need to be Audited as well because the senior people who are supposed to be working in the government hospitals have other interests and there boardrooms are empty so there is no control

Those qualified doctors are leaving this country. Why. Bring Cubans who cannot speak English.

Why does Goverment import Cubans who can't even talk the languages of this country.

Bring in more Cuban doctors.

It's funny how Medical practitioners are in the critical skills list but the government says it has no jobs. I am starting to question the critical skills list

You can’t speak of moral obligation yet we have less doctors seeing patients , doctors that are working are overwhelmed and there’s no enough staff , so this talk it’s frustrating because a district hospital will function with 10 permanent doctors than comserves which are few yet we serve a large community

Well, if Government wants to pay for my MbCHB in full, I'll also be a happy unemployed doctor and I won't march....

As I recall newly qualified doctors in South Africa are required to complete two years of national service after University. It seems as though this is not being managed,like everything else connected to the ANC. Now shutup young doctors and go work mahala for the poor.

I'm going to become an actuary then leave for the US or Europe. 😂this country just has no future, jobs-wise
