2 months worth of media coverage for this? This lady "journalist" is the same one worried about the race Eskom engineers, so seems on brand. Enca need re-evaluate their priorities. Huisgenoot has more integrity...
So its taken two months???? An inquiry that could have taken a few days. The urinating racist never denied the crime. He should have been expelled within 48 hrs and also facing criminal charges. The University failed the victim here. Justice delayed is justice denied. It seems racism is alive and well at Stellenbosch!!!
We live in a very sensitive world these days everything is offensive towards the other even if the other person looks at in a good side or racist side the fact remains we now walking on egg shells hoping they don't break (another person doesn't get hurt by our actions)
@Paul Zuma I had people come into my room in the middle of the night and steal my laptop plus various other items...is that racist too, since the perpetrator is a different race than me or is it only racist if the perpetrator is white?
@Paul Zuma to me it seems to be bit of a reach to assume it's racist incident. In one of the 1st interviews with the victim (before he was egged on by various interest groups) he was explicitly asked if he though it was racially motivated and he said no, but that fact was ignored by the media. Why? As someone that went to an Afrikaans mostly white boarding school myself I can assure you that these type of incidents are common and has nothing to do with race. We always locked our doors to avoid being pranked. When alcohol and young men are involved stupidity is rife. This is a storm in a tea cup spurred on by the media for clicks and to portray a certain narrative. The victim received more trauma by those trying to use this for dirty politics than by incident itself.
@@rdm3373 - No dumb dumb.. the kid did something incredibly stupid while intoxicated. Rather than give the guy a chance to redeem himself, haters like yourself and others would rather see his future in ruins.
