How to fix Dish Drawer that's retaining extra water after washing cycle. What is causing noisy water pump. Maintain before your pump dies. How to replace Dish Drawer water pump.
Thank you! I found my dishwasher wish excess water in the bottom, looked in the manual which was a little vague, searched the F&P videos but they weren’t all that fabulous either - then I found yours, straight forward and to the point with step-by-step instructions, all video’s so it was a great tutorial. Man, you weren’t kidding when you said what I’d find under the drain plate is disgusting - I hadn’t cleaned there in forever and was worried the pump gave out. Thankfully your video helped me figure the whole thing out and clean it and it’s working perfectly now. Many thanks from Israel.
Thank you, your plunger trick finally did the job! After several goes with the plunger out come an apple stalk and walnut piece that were causing the issue. Thank god for RU-vid and helpful people like you. Many hundreds saved.
thank you...just came across this looking for another problem and we used your great video and OMG 10yrs of crap was under it as we never knew to do this....we do now thanks to you!!
Hey, thank you so much for sharing this. After clearing the rubbish using the plunger, no more pool of water at the end of cycle. Safe my day; also got brownie points from wife. :-)
Definitely appreciate this video it’s very informative and helpful as I’ve been having issues. My light flashes in the washer does not want to fill up with water. And the issue also has trickle down to the one I seldomly use which is the bottom one too. So I will give this ago and hopefully it will clear the issue otherwise I might have a little bit more of an issue to clear what’s going on because I think the electronics is freaking out too it won’t change from high medium and fast rinse.
great info! thanks for posting this. we have a kitchenaid drawer dishwasher, little different but same thing. ours is making a noise which sounds like the pump is bad.
One thing a pro shared with me is *fish bones*... they are small enough to get through some of the filters, and will get stuck in the corrugated drain-hose... so if you've done all the plunging and brushing, and you're still having problems, disconnect the drain hose from your disposal/main drain, and blow/brush etc. to clear the line...
Hopefully this will fix the problem. Repair man was here yesterday and replaced the pump, fixed a hose and replaced both rotar assemblies but it still won't drain. 🤞 Going to give this a try...wish me luck Edit: mine was clean, nothing lodged. Still wont drain. 😩
Thank You for posting your video. I’m having trouble with the top drawer, it’s not draining or properly and I just haven’t used it, only the bottom drawer. I just can’t get another one like this one. What should I do? A little help, please.
I would like to add here. There are 3d printed motors being sold on Ebay, total scam. Watch for those that have larger than original impeller blades. The motors are marketed as "used" justifying a low price but they are actually 3d printed, with no scuffs whatsover but the impeller area to sit in pool of water is not re-created like the original rendering them totally useless. The design does not allow for forceful sideways into the drain expulsion of the water. wASTE OF MONEY AND SCAMMERS RUNNING FREE
