Any type can be washed by changing settings and wash time.

Plus they complain and whine if there are more dishes than usual due to guests at home. Then we feel guilty😮🤔 and give the next day "chutti"😊to make them happy.

Not compelsory but you should adjust the rinse aid setting to zero in menu .

Salt is needed to soften water, which is key to clean utensils.

If you are staying in place like Mumbai where water is soft then salt is not needed. In Mumbai we can run dishwasher without salt. However in most cities water is hard which may need you to add salt

Rinse aid is very easy check, there is clear indicator on rinse aid cap. When it's full dark circle - it's fully filled When it's half dark circle then half filled If glass is fully transparent then it's empty Additionally there is indicator on panel for rinse aid. It glows when rinse aid box is empty. For salt also there is indicator on panel which glows when salt refill is required. For salt, my practice is I fill every 45 days. I write fill date on dishwasher with temporary marker. Each time I fill complete 1 kg salt. Salt is needed only if you have hard water in your area. If you have municipal water supply then adding salt is no use.

@@CommonManLife I got the detergent for 220 exactly and fortune salt is also 110 but fortune rinse aid I could not find for less than rs200 for 500ml. Also, for municipal water, Do I add less salt or zero salt?

It's at full. I am not sure whether this dishwasher has rinse aid settings are not. Manual shows that we can set rinse aid, but manual also shows that there are marks around rinse aid cap for settings, whereas actually there is no marking. Rinse aid cap opening and closing is 90 degrees apart. I tried to keep that cap at 45 degree assuming it will use half rinse aid, but the observation was it was consuming same or even lil more rinse-aid. But I am fine, rinse-aid usage is optimal.

@@CommonManLife There are numbers written after opening the rinse aid cap around the opening where you put rinse aid.

Yes, otherwise utensils won't shine and you would often see spots on them.

No, silver copper and alluminium are not recommended. Steel, plastic, melamine, glass and ceramic are good to go.

You're right he is clueless like many that wants to save electricity at the expense of cleaning. Eco mode is useless for cleaning because it does not use hot water which is what intensive uses and the results speak for themselves. But separate products instead of tab is better
