I have a kitty spout right from their web site but it looks a little different and did not come with a cleaning brush, or tweezers (for?? Strange) no window or small upper dish. Now I do love the one I have you just have to remember that just because it is moving water with a filter doesn't reduce cleaning. It needs to be emptied and refilled at least once a week, and change that filter every 2 weeks in a multi cat household. If you only have 1 cat you can likely stretch those times. I have 3 and they all love the fountain. It is far better than some of the plastic fountains. Not too difficult to clean. I have very hard water so I do a vinegar soak when I clean mine.
Not sure as I don't have the box anymore. Most things are made outside of the USA now of days, if you are looking for a USA made drinking fountain look at Whiskers who likes the Litter Robot. They have a drinking fountain all made here last time I checked.
I know your comment is 3 months old, but. It ships from mainland China. It took several weeks to show up. I didn’t realize this when I ordered it. Yeah lots of stuff (pretty much everything) is made in China but I don’t trust it. Digging into the company something seems off. I’m returning it. Going with something that has been around a while.
I have seen two different versions of "KittySpout" fountains. More importantly, the logos, and word-fonts, are distinctly different. Therefore, one is a fake-brand, the other is the real-brand. Which is which?
Same here . I bought mine from their site . The 4Lmodel . Mine looks completely different as well . There is no window . There was no extra little bowl inside . And it only came with one filter . No small cleaning brush at all . Now , I have to order a whole filter kit on subscription. I think this should have been explained more on the site on all of the extra stuff this kitty spout would require . I am not happy with this product at all . I’d rather have all the features you are advertising on this you tube . I feel completely duped . And thanks to this my cats have been unknowingly been drinking unclean water from having only one filter . I paid a lot for the Kitty 4L and just expected everything I needed to keep it and them clean would have come with it …. It’s actually more pricey and I feel that fact is hidden in the way the site is advertising it’s product . One very unhappy customer. Whom do I send my Vet Bill to ?!
My Cats love this! I have 8 cats I have to fill it every day! That’s how much water they drink. I highly recommend it! The only issue I have is refilling it. When u take the lid off water is retained on the lid so when you take the top off to refill the water it pours all over the floor! Other than that , it’s great!
I have one but it's the model that isn't cordless and has the copper spout. The copper spout tarnishes and the adapter that it's plugged into cannot be cleaned. Thankfully I was able to clean the copper piece with salt and vinegar but after soaking the adapter three times it doesn't look like all the debris can be cleaned out of it and there aren't any replacement parts
