Very interesting concept, I like it. Is there also data on this, for example thrust etc.?
@Hydromea

Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, we have thrust data, you can go to hydromea.com and check the specs on the DiskDrive page. If you have more questions - feel free to connect to us directly through a contact form on the website.

How small can you make these? Is it possible to make a "water clearing lens deflector" for camera lenses in a miniature format for clearing water off off camera lenses? Just curious...Cheers, John ;)

Hi John, we are in Switzerland, the watch capital of the world where masterpieces are done by talented micro-engineers. We can certainly scale the size down if there is a strong enough business case. Thanks for an interesting idea!

Is the thruster design scalable to larger, manned vehicles?
@Hydromea
@Hydromea 3 года назад
Hi Muiren, in principle yes, but not infinitely. We will be brining to the market a bigger thruster later this year. Please connect to us via our website if you have a particular project in mind. Thank you for your interest!

What about the magnetic debris in the water, fishing hooks/ swivels for example?
@Hydromea
@Hydromea 3 года назад
Hi Jimmy, magnetic debris (if you find them floating in water, which is rare) would stick to the thruster and make you a proud owner of a great collection of ... well.. magnetic debris! :) But it won't break the thruster. Thanks for an interesting question!

Metal debris will certainly damage this product. but the worst part is unfortunately the sand, and that will destroy it in about five minutes.

500$ ? a little bit much isn't it?

Such a ridiculous question. You need to learn about research and development as well as supply and demand.
@i_hate_google_

@@user-ss1ok1nr6l what are you even talking about, prototyping that you can do it on a tight budget, mass producing it doesn't requier re-inventing the wheel they are trying to cash in as much as they can...
