Dismantling and Assembling the Bowl OSD 18-...-067 Westfalia Separator 

Check how parameters are set and monitor when the alarm triggers.

The best way is to check the bowl and verify if it is ok always start from easy thing check step by step the water supply and such items then go for more complicate one.

Check first solenoids and belt condition. Check also the water filter. Also you can compare by reading amp and rpm to see if they are correct.

I cleaned the filter and was in good condition. Rpm 12000 and the v belts look good. The selonid i tried in manual working. I monitoring during the operation, the selonid is open and i can see the pressure from the panel and the pressure start raise to 3.0 (fees water pressure) and then the purifer give alarm. I wonder why the selonid open during the operation? Suppose only to open in desluge and in the beginning of the operation? I don't know if i am correct or not actually. First time i work on westfaila and in the manual no enough information about the automation.

@@hesham272002 water supply is necessary during operation there is sequence.Please check also the friction block on the motor sometimes if there is oil present it can slip also you should cleaned them with electro clean most of the times they will stuck.

Good day check troubleshooting instructions and test the valve to see if it’s operating. Check all related problems with the valve. Pt2 refers to which indication in the monitor is it high back pressure ? Can you specify the alarm because at this moment I don’t have the manual with me. First Check the alarms what it actually says and how it can be related to the problem you get.

any way thank u for the video. I've seen a comment about no presence of regulating ring. As i know it must be anyway if separator works as a purifier (not a clarifier) :)

Diesel it is cheap and easy for disposal burns good in the incinerator get good gloves to avoid cuts and touch with the product!

Yeah thats what i had experienced also. But my next vessel has westfalia kind of separator thats why i looked in yt and found your video.

There is always a gravity disc on separators normaly it is on top of the bowl and have a number on it.

yes you have right it's defferent type of separator.I will check the manual to see!

Good day my friend i have check for gravity disk and i didn't find it i have alot of years since i was apprentive to work and maintenance such purifiers if someone can help us but as i see there is fixed design for the specific gravity it is universal setting.In mitsubishi for sure there is a gravity disc and it is replacebale here it is different.

Where at purifier?

@@Adventure-Story On a ship. There is fuel in the sightglass on the gearbox mixed in with the oil. I am trying to take it apart. I have pulled the pump off and now am at an impasse. You cannot put a socket down inside the centre to unbolt that center piece.

It is a WESTFALIA OSE 5-91-037/5 FUEL OIL PURIFIER

@@danielbremner4142 if fuel get mix with oil means that some o-ring is been damaged. So you would need to lift the bowl to replace it.
