Thank you for being respectful to the monk seal. So many people don’t know to not approach them and it’s so sad. You guys are always so attuned to the culture and bring and abundance of Aloha. Love that you guys keep coming back. Finally splurged on a staycation for the first time in February and your videos have been one of the best Aulani series to watch.
This past year I have gone to WDW, a Disney cruise on the wish, a merry time cruise and Aulani from watching your videos. They inspire me to treat myself and go on a vacation.

Welcome to the club. Our family visited Aulani for the first time in September and we bought into DVC then. We’ve already stayed 1 night at the Disneyland Hotel. Our first big trip is going to be this summer at the Grand Floridian. Welcome home!

The cabins at Fort Wilderness this summer, the new Poly tower winter and not to mention Disney in general with Fantasy Springs in Tokyo Disney and THEN the Disney Treasure cruise. Just wanted to mention, as all DVC studios have access to the laundry for free. We do our washing before going home so it’s all clean and just put away when you get home.
I started watching you guys a couple of months ago and since have been hooked. I’m 29 and a HUGE Disney fan, but I’ve never been to any Disney themed park. The videos that you two create make me feel like I am at the park as well. You both are so genuine, compassionate, respectful and here to have as good of a time as possible. As a non DVC member I love that I can rent points from members. It's basically the only way I was able to afford a stay at Aulani. I ended up getting a room for 40% off the rack rate!

We just started re-watching your previous Aulani/Oahu adventures as we prepare for our first trip there this summer. Last night we watched the infamous chili pepper water episode and even though I've seen it before, it didn't stop me from belly laughing so hard that I had tears running down my face! I really enjoyed how you edited this episode with focusing on just Aulani - I can't wait to see what is next! I think it makes perfect sense for you guys to own DVC at Aulani especially being located on the west coast. We joined DVC in 2018 and our only regret is not buying more points! We are excited to see all of the adventures you experienced during your trip! (Side note: What camera did you use for filming? The quality is out of this world!)
We regret not getting DVC sooner. When Aulani opened 11 years ago points were only like $120 each 😯 we film everything with either the Sony a7s3 or the Sony Zv-e1. They both have the same exact sensor, ones just smaller and simpler. This video we used a new 16-35mm lens that we don’t normally use
@18:37 the leis I gifted you were Kukui nut leis.. Kukui nuts were a important part of the Hawaiian culture. They were used for candles as seen throughout the resort and also used for cold sores in the mouth. I hope you liked the candy also.. Have a great day!

i started watching you from being a long time shane and ryland fan!!! i used to be a disney cast member performer on their ships and now im a new mommy hoping one day to afford to take our growing family here. been living vicariously through vlogs and a friend currently at the resort. My baby loves lilo and stitch and im thinking this would be such a grand adventure vacation!! i miss being friends with the mouse cant wait for my babies to grow up with the magic . so glad you guys had a great stay. on cold winter east coast nights staying up w the babies love to binge your channel xx

The real benefits of DVC come when you are with a larger group. With 4-6 people, having the extra space of the DVC rooms makes a huge difference. We did DVC at DW this year, and 5 of us in a 2-bdrm suite was amazing. It allowed for a lot more relaxation, and we did breakfast each day before we went out, nice and easy.
@@OrdinaryAdventures I agree. Any group it is a benefit. Now that you are DVC fam, DCL has a lot of goodies when you go on those (Every day, a new one at the DVC cabin).

In case you are not aware the parking is not "Free" as it is a line item on the annual dues. I had to correct a cast member as they told me it was free benefit to members. Since it is in the Association Documents, Disney can never take it away like many of the perks they have done away with.
All DVC have transporting fee or park fee in annual dues so if you use point to book room the self parking is free ( as Disneyland hotel and Grand Cal only on DVC points) @@OrdinaryAdventures

Oh, Man, do I MISS THIS PLACE! It’s been more than a year and a half since our week there but I still actually occasionally dream I’m there! We spent WAY too much on the week…but this was Such a YOLO experience! And it was So worth it…likely never gonna get a chance to come back, but I’m glad you guys will take us along with you every once in a while!!
Ha that’s part of the reason we invested in DVC. Aulani is expensive and the first trip we lucked out and rented DVC points cheap cheap because it was 2020. Then the second time we went we were lucky to get a castmember discount which was half off. It’s hard to reason paying that much for a hotel room but it’s amazing. Now that we are DVC the cost is more reasonable for us.

My family has been DVC members since I was a teen. Now I get to take my son to the dvc events. We just went to animal kingdom till 12 with free snacks and games. A bunch of characters where walking around it was amazing!

I've been a dvc member since 2009 and its been awesome for me. Figure this for an Aulani trip. Say you book a 7 day trip, with room, tax and fees not including food you'll spend $7000.00 dollars out of pocket. Buy a DVC contract and now you can stay at any DVC resort and you're not spending $7000.00 out of pocket that week.

According to WDWNT Disney purchased the formula to some H2O+ products and will continue to produce under new branding, since H2O products were discontinued in 2022. Also, this has been the most awesome couple of weeks of travel I’ve ever seen! #bucketlist

I live on O'ahu and have never been to Aulani and watching this video after watching your Tokyo Disneyland/Sea series, I have even less interest in visiting Aulani! 😆 I can’t wait, however, to go to Tokyo and have to thank you both for your videos on Tokyo Disney Resort! It was so helpful and we even chose the Toy Story hotel because your video made it seem so magical! ❤
Y'all are in my neck of the woods lol. Since you guys loved the curry in Japan, there's a Coco Ichibanya about 15-20mins away from Aulani. Kinda by Target in Kapolei. Hope the islands treat you guys well! Aloha!
