Yes, because they made him sound ominous and turned his eyes green and focused on them. This technique has always been used on the villain in the past, but past villains had shown their badness by actually doing bad thing. Ursula being vain, jealous and using her magic for gain. Gaston being arrogant, incredibly self absorbed and stopping at nothing (even murder) to get what he wants. The Evil Queen was jealous, vain and used he magic for bad also resorting to murder. I mean he just wants to his kingdom to beat its best 🤷🏻‍♀️, but he won't give everything that is wished for. I don't see the problem.

@@vihtas_art Yes and you didn't see the movie Wish. If you had, you would know that Asha says that if those wishes are bad, they can be stopped, but if they are good then they can proceed. This is why Asha is the hero. She believes that the people need more than what they have and she trusts them to be responsible for themselves and if they crash and burn with that, that's on them and they'll have to be brought to justice. This hatred is for black people and young people in general and it needs to stop.

This comment isn’t too long.I’ve seen some comments that are as long as a 350 word(or more)essay.

There’s a few flaws in this argument that are addressed in the movie; 1.) People give their wishes to the king willingly knowing that once they do they’ll forget them and may never get them back. This is a choice they make and know the consequences of already. 2.) As the king already said, not all wishes should be granted, and doing so can have terrible consequences on the overall kingdom. So, the choice of which wishes to grant and which are not also come down to whether or not they’d be good for all the kingdom as well as the individual. The wishes he allows the people to forget are ultimately the ones that they should forget, and develop a new wish that would benefit the kingdom. Also, some of the wishes are really dumb and don’t need the power of wishing for. For example, wishing for a good babysitter for your kids? Yeah, no. Just get one yourself. 3.) On an individual level, some of the worst things we can receive from life is exactly what we want. I remember one time I desperately wished to be a professional video game player, but now that I’m older I realize that would have been a terrible wish granted, and that I’m now far better off in life and as a person as a videographer; something I would have never accomplished had I been a pro video game player. In addition, I once wished to be with a woman who matched my exact list when I was 18. Needless to say, 10 years later, that list is completely different, and I realize in hindsight that getting with that type of woman would have been a curse and not a blessing. The same thing applies in this movie. Seeing people not getting their wishes and even forgetting about them is actually not necessarily a bad thing. In many cases, it allows people to move on to better things in their own lives that they can do since they no longer remember their previous wishes. It can be a blessing, not a curse.
