The Walt Disney Company just revealed the grand return of their oldest cartoon character still relevant today - Pete! While Pete has always been the main villain of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and everyone else, he had a surprisingly absent role from the Disneyland and Disney World theme parks. Nearly a hundred years after Pete's introduction, something finally changed.
Although Pete was never the most iconic Disney villain, he's still been around for the longest span of time. He was introduced all the way back in a 1925 shorts before Mickey Mouse and Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. Because Disney is recognizing older faces again, it's no surprise that they've finally brought Pete to Disneyland as a character costume.
