I love that you were able to stay here and share it with us. I especially like that Alan recognizes that the cost for one night is a mortgage payment or rent for one month. This channel is my absolute favorite because you two keep it real and do not take for granted what you get to do. Some might even say this channel is "exquisid".

Can you do a video on DVC Rentals? Such as the process on how to do it, which companies are good ones to go through, the pros and cons of using a DVC, etc. I have looked at them over the years, but I am kind of confused of the pros and cons. I am also afraid that I would book with one of them and it would be a scam or I wouldn't get the same benefits as I would if I booked directly with Disney.

Having been lucky enough to stay at the Polynesian 3 TIMES! (hey, I'm a New Yorker) in '78, '81 and '97, it warmed my heart to see you both getting emotional. The resort holds a special place in my heart (honeymoon in the Tonga longhouse--now Hawaii), so Molly's reaction after sitting in the outdoor swing really hit me. Thanks for helping me realize that it IS possible to splurge on a fantasy-come-true. Hey, you never know---trip number FOUR could be in the cards (even if we spend it in a bungalow for one night).

Tbh the swinging chairs and dipping pool and outdoor shower are all great, but the ACTUAL height of luxury is not having to take apart the sofa to create the pullout bed.

We love the Poly. It is one of our most favorite resorts. (Except elevator needs to be a little larger) We always request late check out. I never thought of an early check in!! The Copper Creek cabins are the bomb. I would pick those every time. Real hot tub in a screened in porch, so no bugs! We own DVC there so it's affordable.

It’s a shame to see them there empty with nobody using them because they’re so overpriced that nobody can afford to stay there or enjoy their Beauty. I’m sorry, it’s so cute and heartwarming seeing them be so happy over this, but why not go to actual Bora Bora/The ACTUAL French Polynesia for this kind of money. Instead, you are on murky lake water in Orlando at Disney. It’s just insane what they charge for what this actually is, imo. And they don’t even give you fast passes to the park or anything like Universal does. Just seems like the juice is not worth the squeeze in these places for a THEME PARK vacation. You could go to Indonesia and stay in insanely gorgeous accommodations for cheap cheap too. Like $50-$150 a night. I just don’t understand wasting this kind is money at Disney World in Orlando Florida. But that aside, I love these two and glad to see them so happy.

I don't get it. It's a small hut...for $4K per night... Ok, so it's over the lake at Disney World, but the amenities and comforts don't seem any better than what's in my own home (and the room is much smaller, despite my _monthly_ house payment being a fraction of that room's _nightly_ cost.) And that's _just_ for the room. Not including souvenirs, park tickets, food... You could do _so much more_ with that money elsewhere. Take a road trip and see the country. Don't get me wrong, I grew up with Disney and have lots of fondness for the magic they brought my childhood... But you can get a longer, better vacation for the same amount. Why pay exorbitant prices just because it's at a Disney resort? It baffles me. But, I guess different people see value in different things. Just seems kind of...well, like a giant rip-off for what you're actually getting. (Not to poo-poo your dream, nor anyone else's. It's cool that there are ways for people to get discounts for these experiences, so thanks for highlighting that info. I'm glad you got to experience your dream, and I hope it was everything you wished it would be.)

You guys must do a Cascade cabin at copper creek and I'd recommend Cabin # 8026 as it is the last cabin on the far end of the resort and it has awesome fireworks / contemporary view from the hot tub (not just a plunge pool like the bungalow). The show music is pumped into the speakers of the cabin and there is a private cabin parking lot right there by the cabins.

Such a bucket list item. The Polynesian will always be my favorite Disney resort. So many wonderful childhood memories. Never got to stay overnight.. as we lived down there. Staycations really weren't a thing in the eighties. You went home and slept in your own bed. But.. we did spend a good bit of time on the beach.. at the playground.. shopping and dining. As an adult I enjoyed the Spirit of Aloha dinner show a couple of times. It was awesome. 🌴
