This channel is golden it’s crazy how far back our memories go. I was 6 at the time and I always made sure to watch these after school or if it was a Saturday I’d watch Disney morning through night 😭

Late 2006 was the year Disney channel was changing a lot. Even stevens, Lizzie McGuire, Phil of the future etc. were leaving their time slots off the air for the new shows. Hannah Montana was the new and last show with the old bumper.
Phil of the Future still had time slots from 2006-2008. Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire moved to WGN and when Lizzie McGuire left WGN, it went back to Disney Channel for about a year before it stopped airing on TV
I do agree that it was a transitional period. Basically Late 2006- Early 2008 was a transitional period before it was taken over by the teenboppy Camp Rock/Demi Lovato/Jonas Brothers/Hannah Montana era as it was in full force
@@playoffexpert3938 My thoughts exactly! People say that DC died in mid/late 2007 around the time Wizards came out and KP + TSR ended, but the real end of 2000s Disney Channel was Fall 2008.
As much as I loved Kim Possible and That’s So Raven growing up, Wizards of Waverly Place was the last good teen sitcom on Disney Channel and my all-time favorite. If it weren’t for Wizards, I would not have watched Disney Channel at the time because none of the other shows appealed to me that much. But, Wizards of Waverly Place was like that one special show that I loved and adored!
16:15 omGGGGG THIS BUMPER TOOK ME BACK LIKE NO OTHER. it used to play all the freaking time. it seems so random and out of place now, like who pitched “let’s take an adorable fish with the cutest lil squeak you ever heard, get the kids emotionally attached to it, and then send it into a death chase with a giant horrifying fish.” why also it’s trippy to think there was a point where i saw that bumper for the last time 😨 dang. this whole thing is wild lol
I KNEW I WASNT GOING NUTS!!! It felt like at one point in time, Disney used to air that bumper all the time. I thought it was just me who felt like they constantly played it.

This reminds me so much of when I was in Latin America during the spring/early summer 2007 when DC was still using the bounce era branding but their promos started shifting to the ribbon look. I do recall noticing the new style and kind suspected that a change was about to come. One day the whole channel rebranded as well as their website. Did anyone here had that same feeling over here in the US or in your country?
What the heck was the Molly movie all about? See, this was part of the "American Girls" series of movies, and this was the third one. The first two aired on the WB, but due to the merge between that and UPN to form the CW, they figured that it wouldn't be fitting on the channel, so weirdly, it aired on Disney Channel, thus making it stand out a bit too much, and it wasn't even officially referred to as a DCOM. Interestingly, the very next film of the American Girl line actually made it to theatres, and actually got great reviews, and it starred Abigail Breslin.
That’s so Raven remains the funniest Disney show, ever. I tried so hard to like Vanessa Hudgens because she was so popular but I just couldn’t stand her. And to make it worse, people always told me I looked and sounded like her and I resent that lol

Crazy how I was born in Early September 2006, literally 2 months (and 20 days) before this time, but have vague memory of 2007 at least. My memory is goddamn insane. It’s like I have the memory of an elephant. Even though I remember the good Disney Channel more from 2007/8-2014, the nostalgia’s fucking real with this one. Thanks, man.
i didn’t realize Mike’s Super Short Show ran this long! i thought it cut off in 2004 or something. to me, losing Mike’s show to Movie Surfers was like the Disney Channel equivalent of losing Steve to Joe on Blues Clues lol 😭
Watching Pepper-ann was a lot of fun, but I didn't watched that show in here. I watched that show on Toondisney since in the Fall 2006, and I still like it because she's my favorite cartoon redhead.

Just seeing Maddie and London doing stuff together they both could be just like Ehren Mcghehey And Dave England from jackass which makes it like the female version of them pretty cool right
