Also, a note for those of you who have never been to a Disney park and find yourselves watching these videos: There are no more "store situations" or "crowding situations". Characters now appear at designated times and in designated places at the parks and you can find when and where on your park map/schedule. Honestly, if you ask me, this may sound selfish, but I hate it. When I was 9 in 2001, those schedules didn't exist and you could walk into a store and find a character "shopping" there, as if they were living daily life within the Magic Kingdom. Or you could just be walking down a street and run into one unexpectedly. It really made it more like the characters were LIVING in the parks like we do in our towns and cities. When Disney arranged the scheduled meets, it took away that magic for me. >=(
I think it's also because many children are afraid of the characters (masklophobia), if they are walking and they find themselves in a store or area it can be disturbing, so this is that you only find them in determined moments can be in case the child wants to go by his own decision so that he is not found anywhere at any time.
One thing I can't understand about Disney parks. At the end of the movie Pinocchio is a real boy, Rapunzel has sort brown hair, Ariel does not have a tail, Beast is a man...a I'm sure there are more. Isn't that confusing to the kids that believe these are the real people.
I guess this is videos is not used anymore therefore they let them get out in public. But still would b e fun to now how they landed here because I guess only the parks had them.
Yeah pretty much the only time you see Pinocchio characters nowadays is when the Disney Parks have opportunities to bring out the characters from "less advertised" Disney movies on occasion, and in the case of Stromboli they bring him out around the time of the Halloween festivities that Disney World or Disneyland may have.
Andrew Vickers That angers me a lot. I saw Pinocchio once by surprise last July and now I’m dying to see him again after I was hoping to on my recent trip only to have missed him by one day when he didn’t come out the day I went to find him. I was so disappointed and heartbroken and I can’t return until next year when Star Wars land opens. At that rate, I don’t even know if I’ll even find him again. That makes it even more impossible.
Pinocchio is my favorite character to see at Disneyland even though it takes a while to find him whenever I go to Disneyland it's always worth it when I do eventually find him
Why not just use the costume from shrek the musical? It actually looks like a puppet and he could interact with guests and if he "lies" he can control his nose to grow

Someone pls answer this question: I saw a video on an Oswald The Lucky Rabbit costume at Disneyland but Idk if it was at a different location. Anyone know where he could be? I will find you little rabbit!!
