Just so you know, this isn't an MEP part or a preview or anything. Basically this is a test to see if I can make a decent crossover using only imovie HD, considering that's the only video making tool I have. Why this couple you ask? Because when I made it, I had the first half hour of Treasure Planet on my computer to make fandub readies on one of my other channels, and the Princess and the Frog fandub ready scenes for me to fandub on my main channel, which explains watermarks on some of them. Either way I really hope I did a decent job.
The story should be pretty easy to follow, but just in case, or if you're like me and you like reading the story for fun:
Background: Jim works as a servant at the La Bouff mansion. He's always had a crush on Charlotte, but she's only ever considered him a friend. Basically she's the type that associates love with beauty and money.
Black & White: The La Bouffs throw a ball one night. Jim climbs up some ropes to get a good look at Charlotte as she descends the stairs, only to end up heart broken as she runs into the arms of Prince Naveen.
Color: The next morning Jim cleans up after the ball when he notices Charlotte and Tiana still in their dresses from the night before. Charlotte is bitching and crying about something (you can make up the reason) and runs away with Tiana chasing her.
Black & White: Earlier that night while Charlotte primps herself up, Jim finally flat out tells her that he loves her. Of course she doesn't pay attention, going on and on about how wonderful Naveen is.
Color: Later that day, Jim sits on the roof of the servants' quarters and watches Naveen propose to Charlotte. The next day we see Jim working at his other job as a bus boy at the diner Tiana works at. Charlotte bursts in to tell Tiana about her marriage, and Jim utters a sarcastic remark before he disappears into the kitchen and out of Charlotte's life forever.
