It is truly a dream experience. This being our first cruise, it's hard to compare it to other cruises, but I feel like the Disney magic added a lot to cruise experience!❤

@@WorldFamilyExplorers Royal (especially the larger ships) have a lot for everyone. Carnival staff is great with children (from what I have observed, ours are older)
The Slide, " The Aqua Duck" is Amazing! Not super fast but being a clear tube over the ocean and the ship deck makes it pretty epic. I went on it over 20 times! Lol
Enjoyed your vlog, hope to take a cruise with my twin granddaughters next year. We would only do 5 days, even if you work out that’s sooo much food. I don’t have any willpower lol one of the the twins eats fish, veggies , and will try anything etc other one wants grilled cheese and fries 😮
I definitely ate too much on the cruise. I'm with you on too much food, after 2 weeks I was in a food coma. The cuisine really exceeded our expectations, and the fear of missing out on trying everything did cause a lot of over eating. The self serve unlimited ice cream machines got me in trouble too! Lol
We're heading out on the 2024 transatlantic and can't wait!! Thank you for sharing your experience. This is going to be our first Disney cruise. We've always traveled Royal Caribbean before.

Well well Im finally up to date guys! I saved the best for last ! First day of the cruise ! I can feel the chills of excitement all over the place from your awesome disney outfits to the ambiance, the clapping and smiling crews and the energy of the whole crowd during the sailing away party ! Oh boy, you guys got me through the late night dishwashing ! 😂 I got my phone in front of the sink and bam I was ready ! Wow, truly a dream come true for both kids and adults isn't it? Everything looks so exciting. That first day steak that Chris had looks so enticing ! How do guys like your steak? I used to stay in the South of France for a year and so Im used to rare steak they make over there 😆 Im a carnivorous myself too and Im totally into beef tartare hehe. Yeah rare steak and tartares are my thing. How do guys even control what you eat there with all that food looking so good ?! Lord have mercy, i would gain so much weight there especially having a sweet tooth 😅 I swear every time i see you guys munching on some snacks or desserts outside during your wondering arounds, i would grab a coffee and look for something sweet on the fridge or my guilty drawers ! I always need to eat something sweet that goes with my sugarless coffee (with cream). Ely's face after having a go with that escargot was priceless 🤣😆😂 She really did tried ! She was so cute hahahaha. After a long hectic work, I needed that laugh ! Thanks 🤣😆 Oh dear, escargot is one of my favorite along with fresh oysters in lemon and tabasco! 😋😋😋. I do love your dresses Ely ! Im all about dresses in the summer too that's why I never travel to Europe during the winter lol (unless the destination is Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Rep). My winter escape ! Great slides they have there in that gigantic ship ! How do you guys get to have all the space to your selves in the golf area? Do you schedule or people just happen to do something else? Its a whole lot of people ! Its also great that our kids are bigger now to leave them on the kids club as the parents get to enjoy adult activities! Cant wait to watch Seville ! Take care and happy travels ! ❤️
It truly was such a dream!! One of the most incredible trips we have taken as a family! Oh the desserts definitely got us in trouble! 2 weeks on the ship we probably gained good 10 pounds each 😂 we tried to work out to at least balance it out a little, but we definitely didn't say no to the amazing food and treats. Escargot, Connor still brings up as his least favorite thing he's ever tried haha so I think we'll skip it from here on. Steak, we order medium rare! You can eat steak every night there if you choose, but they really had an amazing variety of options and even in 2 weeks we never got tired of the food. There is no reservation for mini golf, it was empty maybe because it was a bit windy that day, but the wind didn't stop us! During winter, we typically choose warmer destinations as well and love the Caribbean! Look up the Grand at Moon Palace, your boys will love that place! They had the most incredible kids club there (in the sunrise side) and both of our kids loved it soo much and preferred it to the Disney kids club. This year we should be in Egypt, Dubai and then South East Asia through the holidays! Glad we can entertain you through washing dishes haha

She had a blast of course but travelling as single. Im so excited to see your vid so I could get a glimpse on how families with young kids travel there ! How fabulous! My first job was with an Egyptian family run business. They gave me a very lovely papyrus art since they knew I was so obsessed with Egyptian history when i was a child. I got it framed and still have it to this day. I of course wanna take my family there one day so Im super excited on what's to come for you guys as you tag us along your journeys! South East Asia !!! Wow, i've only been to Thailand and the Philippines where I was born and spent my childhood there. We have a lot of beautiful beaches there and we are going there next year. Beach hoping in Coron Palawan and the surrounding areas ! Are you guys going to Japan? That's a solid bucket list ! China of course with the great wall and all that amazing places. My mom went to Macao and she highly recommends. Singapore of course is on top of the list. Beaches in Bali and the list goes on. Wow what an amazing adventure awaits you guys !
@HockeyGirl514 Dubai looks soo incredibly kid friendly! Albeit expensive haha but endless things to do. In Egypt, we are going with a group of other traveling families and the kids will be going to an alternative "school" which is on a local farm to learn all about Egyptian art, culture and history. I think that experience will challenge us (Egypt is not the easiest place to travel to from what I hear), but I think its going to open our eyes in so many ways. So far our SEA itinerary is pretty unplanned 😂 honestly my head sometimes spins from all the constant planning which is a problem I know I'm very lucky to have. Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Phillipines are definitely on our list! If you have any tips or recommendations send them my way as we have nothing planned yet (we should be there mid-November) 😊. Japan we would love to visit!! We travel slower with the kids so we'll see how many places we get around to, but we plan on being in that part of the world until April! -Elly
Yes, there was! It was enough that they made some friends, but also got a lot of personal attention from the staff because it was a lot less than a typical cruise. The boat was only about half full, which was amazing. If you do decide to go, join the Facebook group for your sailing date to connect with other families. We were able to split a private guide in one of our stops with another family.
