Day 5 of our cruise on the Disney Magic ended up being the most relaxing day yet! From the Rainforest Room to the pool, we had a great day! We did some trivia, got to spend time with friends, and it was just the perfect Disney Cruise day!

Awww I’m so bummed the rainforest room didn’t live up to the expectations! ☹️ I have gone during sea day once and I vowed never again cuz I cannot relax in crowded areas. I hope you guys give it a chance again in the future (for more quietness I totally recommend on a port day), the Fantasy and Dream ones are more relaxing IMO. You know I love Disney Cruises but I’m disappointed they haven’t recognized the value you’ve brought them with building this community that loves cruising with them.

So on your first day, go take a tour of the Spa and they’ll explain to you the benefits of the Rain Forest room. They offer a scrub package for an additional cost that you use in conjunction with the saunas that will leave your skin feeling smooth and your muscles relaxed. Honestly Adam, the advantages of the Rain Forest Room are spending time with your significant other, relaxing in a quiet environment. We would go during the first dinner service and it was dead, had the entire room to ourselves. ❤

Try sporcle to practice for trivia. Ask for Bombay potatoes and chicken tikka/tandoori chicken. So good and extra yummy.

We felt the same about the rain forest. The showers were just showers(I expected essential oils or something to come out of them), the saunas were just saunas etc. One and done for us.....

The rainforest room is a better experience on port days not on sea days. My favorite part of the rainforest is the heated loungers and on port days I enjoyed the hot tubs in there. Thanks for sharing 🤗🚢❤️

A day to just breathe. That's so HAPPY!!! I enjoyed seeing the ocean spray. That was fun. I'm SO GLAD you got the plushie towel animal! Only 371 days until we'll finally get onboard our first cruise. We've only been planning since March 2019. 🤣🤣🤣

Rainforest room on Dream and Fantasy is better because the heated ceramic loungers face the sea. The hot tubs are outside. It is more expensive though $50 day pass.

she is the BEST... We first met her on our first cruise on Magic Norway/Iceland/Scotland in June 2015....She was our Asst. Server then....We have met her on 4 more cruises since!!

The rainforest room is way better on the dream and fantasy because you can see the ocean from inside of it. Not even the wish has as nice of a rainforest room as the dream and fantasy.

We are going on the Wonder next March going from Vancouver to San Diego and it is all at sea days! I’m so excited because it’s our first Disney cruise and we will get lots of time to explore the ship :)

Love your vlogs. And agreed about the seadays. We got so many on our first cruise wbta 2011 on the Disney Magic. And we loved it. And yes you can make them as busy or relaxing as you wish. And with so many on those longer cruises you can do so much fun stuff.

Adam, what would make deck 4 even better, a nice soft serve cone as you sit listening to the water and breeze. My daughter and I can sit there for the entire cruise and be just fine.

@legglife I agree...we did the WBTA (WITH YANUPA OF COURSE) THIS PAST SEPTEMBER AND IT WAS AMZING...We had 5 sea days in a row at one point.

The rain forest rooms are different (larger more amenities) on the larger ships. I thought they were no longer offering day passes and that you had to buy it for the whole length of the cruise. Did you purchase it ahead of your cruise or when you got on the ship?

We like the rainforest room on the Fantasy. Love the heated beds and my husband loves the saunas. But our last cruise we could only get a weekly pass no day passes which is very expensive. if you have many busy or port days you feel required to fit in more time there to get your money's worth.

We are going on a viewer's cruise in January. They reserved a block of rooms for their viewers thru a travel agent. Did you guys use a travel agent. Fun day at sea.

Nope, we didn’t use a travel agent because we wanted our viewers to be able to book however they wanted to. Many people already have an agent they use, or don’t want to use an agent. So, we wanted them to have that flexibility

If you prepay the gratuities, do you still get the tip envelopes at the end of the cruise?

Yes you will on the next to the last night if I remember correctly from 2; months ago. Your stateroom host will drop off the envelopes and Disney will have your prepaid gratuity slips ready for you to slip into the envelopes. We always add extra, (as do many others), to the envelopes, but that is our personal choice.

Adam, you're just not spa people LOL! The fully wraparound *Promenade Deck* (the proper cruising term for Deck Four) is one of the best features onboard the Disney legacy ships. It's absolutely shameful that it was eliminated on the Wish. A lot more happens on the Promenade Deck than guests realise! Where else can you play shuffleboard with Goofy or see Sleepwalking Goofy! If you enjoy sea days, consider a transatlantic crossing on the Disney fleet. It also happens to be the best value Disney cruise on a per night basis and it's about 95% adults! Save more with a placeholder!
