When many people think of cruising the last thing they think of is crossing the Atlantic Ocean. For those of you who enjoy cruising to experience the ship at sea - this is the cruise for you! We have spent the last few blogs exploring the route of the Disney Wonder this entry begins the journey of the Disney Magic. Like all of the Disney ships the Disney magic spends it's winter in the Caribbean, it then journeys across the Atlantic to summer in the Mediterranean and then spends autumn in New York. You only have two options for your Transatlantic cruise each year, either Eastbound or Westbound. As a New Englander the itinerary of the Eastbound with ports in beautiful Spain and Portugal is definitely enticing but there are never any words to describe the feeling of following the path of so many who came to this country and sailed past the Statue of Liberty just as you will do on a Westbound.
