There isn't a quality setting for the switch, but you can get a better resolution if you dock your switch before taking the picture. While handheld, the switch will have a resolution of 720p, but while docked, it can be up to 1080p.

We may not have a Top 10 but some of these photos are beautiful. My favourites submissions are from Bloom, love the colours + the sunset. Miss Fake, I mean the sunset is just perfect. Roxie, photo looks gorgeous with the Trees and FlameG like the Composition and Colors and the Mask

There are no graphic settings for switch. 😭 you can only change time of day, camera shake, and flashes. I somehow have received 4k each week so far 🎉

Should show us top 5 because those are the ones that get more than 4k. Around 2:13 its one of those whimsical sunbird companions you get from the premium shop, and she has a companion house around. I use them often in my photos to get multiple companions in my photos. We do know that you get 20 points for the mandatory items and 20 for the suggested so maybe people aren't submitting photos with any suggested to they are missing out on 20 points from the get-go. I think that is what happened with my beach photo. I don't think I had any Lilo and Stitch items. So, I scored in I think 56 but would have scored like 76. People just need to make sure they are hitting all the suggested items as well.

Whoa thank you for reviewing it, I can't believe you thought it deserved top 10, I LEGIT thought I was gonna get like 600 moonstones AT BEST haha. Yeah I was shook for real that I got 4k bc that was literally my first time participating in Dreamsnaps at all, since I couldn't play for the first two weeks. I just took it in the Lion King realm, tried to angle it right and hoped to get any amount over 300 moonstones lol Now I just lowered my expectarions for fire and water bc clearly my perception of my pics ain't right haha

The very first one ended me in top 1000 wich i didn't expect. This time i actually expected to do well, i really liked my entry and i ended way lower 🤷🏽‍♀️ I have no clue anymore how to predict what will do well.

This week got 2,500 Moonstones couldn't believe it! Just putting a thank you out into the world shame I can't thank my voters directly.

I played a different game in the past, where the very same mechanic and after a few weeks it degenerated into a "like" contest. It was both sad and defeating for those of us who were really trying. 😢

Aw mine was skipped again, but that's fine.. It's still always nice to see other people's submissions, I loved them all, everyone is so talented!

You can not change the quality on a Switch. There is no option like there is on PC.

Thank you for the video Mr Star! The rankings are definitely confusing but I am always so happy to see so much talent in our community. So many beautiful submissions! I did really well the first two weeks and only okay with Earth and Air theme, but I was really proud of my submission. I think that's what's most important and let's be honest, who's ever going to turn down free moonstones!

1st week I put in a little effort and got 1500 moonstones. So week 2, I put in a little more effort and got 1200 moonstones. For the earth and air challenge I put in around 30 seconds of effort and got 2500 moonstones. I’m so confused. My Fire and Water submission is the best one I’ve done by far, so I’ll probably get 600. 😂

I see submissions where they just go into a realm and snap a photo - almost zero effort and they rank so high. Something just isn't right.

I did mine in Wall-E's realm too, I have goggles on my characters head and got 600 moonstones

I placed within the top 300 getting 4000 moonstones and I feel like a lot of these were way better than mine. I went very simple with my backdrop and pose! I did post in Discord.

I didn’t summit my picture to you but I scored 76.88 and ranked 175 have 4000 moonstones.

I am sure that pink puff was when you go from companion picture to without... it gives that puff and randomly places the pet somewhere else in the picture.

shuldent cloting chalengs by jugdes by the dress. they shuld made so bakgrund dekoration isent alowed. like you has to use an empty room in your house to be able to post clothes chalengs

I got rank 8 for my earth and air submission, but I was dumb and didnt save a copy of my submission 🙈

I have noticed a lot of the pictures that seem like they should rank higher are using dresses or overalls which probably makes it so they have less points for the outfit challenge since they are using less clothing items in total. Also you can’t wear a hat if you use any of the elemental hair so that’s one less too. Mine was the one at 6:23 and I used as many clothing items as possible, even wearing pants and socks under my skirt that matched the tags. Also it helps to tell a story. Mine was Elsa was mad cuz I was trying to be the fifth element instead of her 😂

I ranked 8621 and got 900 moonstones. I thought that would have gotten me more. Im on PlayStation.

I found that some players were very hard on some photos and less on others. I guess it's subjective, like art. On a few of them, I couldn't see the "air" but it was very difficult.

Do you think there's any way to find out if the tomatoes got the top spot? 🤔
