Disney Dreamlight Valley. I Found THE BEST Submission While Voting. HOW Did They Do It???

Hi! I submitted that first split screen submission, thank you so much for your amazingly kind words!! I ended up ranking 1742 which was lower than I expected but I still got 4K moonstones. As others have mentioned I used an iron lamppost and it took me a few days of trying to get this shot. I also wanted to make sure both characters had the light reflection right under them and that the snowflakes from an off screen snowcloud were aesthetically pleasing. It took many tries! I saw other split screen submissions that I thought were better executed, and looked a bit more organic. But I really wanted a symmetrical submission and in the end I'm very happy with how it came out :)

Oh my goodness, I think there were a lot of good ones this week! I'm nervous about my moonstones this week! I'm impressed by how good a lot of the community is getting at putting together these shots. So fun to look through them!

MrStarInSky my Arendelle dreamsnap was very similar to the first dreamsnap you voted on. I to made an indoor snap with frozen on the left and Arendelle on the right, and I used Elsa, snow clouds, and frozen stuff to make it look like it was taking over the Anna and the Arendelle section of the room. After seeing all the more frozen and less Arendelle outdoor snaps, I’m hoping it results well! 🤞🏻📸

I'm still confused how the room divider was done. I looked and looked and still lost for that long black division. Also - when I was voting today, I saw so many with Nala in them, not sure why.

My mind immediately went frozen when i read the challenge. I didn't distinguish between arendelle and frozen. Hopefully i don't get wrecked as a result. So many beautiful submissions again this week

I wish you could get more moonstones the more you vote. I don’t like that you can only claim on the one day you vote. What encourages to keep voting after they claim the 50 moonstones?

They should really add in Sven the reindeer as a companion or something to complete the Arendelle Frozen family

Idky but I feel like a dagger got pushed in my heart. When I posted mine in the discord it got the most interactions and comments I've ever gotten saying how unique it was. The idea was "what would a room look like if elsa and Anna shared a room. Granted the concept seams to be a bit different. But the execution is so much better than mine. Idk the feeling to me is that I put all my creativity that I had into it. It got good feedback and then I see almost the same thing I did but better. Its soul crushing.

There was a snap on Dreamsnaps subreddit of Anna standing outside Elsa’s door and it’s super good. There’s also an exterior one of Anna vs Elsa that’s perfectly split down the middle that I think is number one. Personally, I’m burnt out on the “blue glowy winter” snaps and they don’t feel Arendelle to me. Arendelle was warm and sunny, not wintery and cold.

There is one that is done outdoors that I think is the best polar opposite shot I've ever seen in this round of voting. I have voted a lot more this week and seen several people using this same idea indoors. With outdoors it's a lot harder to get the effect just right. The one you saw was good, but a rank 1, I'm afraid will be a hard goal to reach unless voter count goes back up tremendously.

That’s one shot?! 😮 How do you top that? 🫣 If this doesn’t get first place, then I don’t think I’ll ever trust these results. I mean YOUR submission, last week, was STUNNING, but you were ROBBED! 🥺 I have fun making these, but I often wonder if there’s something bizarre happening with these results.
