I have seen the trailer to the live-action Little mermaid the teaser trailer one. Then I actually saw the official trailer of the new Little mermaid. In on the cover it clearly shows Ariana grande playing the lead role as Ariel. So it is already confirmed that Ariana grande will be playing the role. the lead role as Ariel , the beautiful Halle Berry will NOT be starring of Ariel.

I washed all three of the trailers that they made for The Little mermaid live action. In all three of them on the cover of all three of them clearly shows Ariana grande and no one else.
